Unlike a proper 9to5 job. There is no set income from playing poker. The swings can see to that, you could go 3/4 months without making your monthly income, the bills won't pay themselves & your bankroll takes a huge hit. You then have to try to chase that bankroll back, then try to make your monthly income. Rinse & repeat. And you will probably spend 12/14 hours a day trying to do it.
Nothing wrong with dreaming, but me personally, i will treat poker as a hobby.

Russia is not as rich as you might think, 1500-2000 $ salary in Moscow is considered as above average, so 2k $ would be more than enough for me.

I would think around $4000 per month would suffice.

Getting a bankroll of 1000$ from my 100$ would be a good start, why 1000$? So I can play in NL25 as soon as I feel I'm confortable and making good decisions, I need a stat of 2 sessions of multitabling 4tables, where I could double 2.5 times out of 1.5 where I lose all. That means, and income of 1 buy in per session (it's an average of course). in nl25, it would make 50 dollars income a day. Playing 20 days a month would make it 1000$ income. From there I would stop stcking my bankroll (keeping some money aside to get higher when I'm ready, but won't put it directly on my playing bankroll) just to get better at nl25, to make an average winning of 2.8 or even 3 times out of 4 games, I don't know if it's possible, so as I reach a profit of 75 dollars a day in nl25 I may think about getting higher buy ins.

Who has enough income depends on their needs. There are those who need a premium car under their bottom, but there are those who have enough of a bike.
Some need six bathrooms for three rooms (this is crazy), some have enough to draw a bucket of water from the well every week to bathe.
I know I have said extremes now, but it all depends on the point of view.
There are those for whom little is enough, but there are those for whom all is not enough.

How much would you need for a normal life?
I'm not talking about millions, hundreds, or tens of thousands.
I'm talking about a real income that you would spend on a normal life.
Personally, I would have enough monthly income of $800-$1000.
Although we are all human and we always want more.
hello to all fans of poker and intelligent games! Depends on where you live. I now live in a small town in Karelia. Me and my girlfriend need about $600 a month to live. In many ways, envy depends on the region of residence and the average s / p in the country. Also envy of the goals that you set. If you abandon the "cult of consumption", do not follow marketing and advertising, and live within your means, then money will always be enough. Money is just a tool to achieve certain goals. The main thing in life is family, friends, emotions, and of course POKER. Good luck bro!

Hello! OH you're living in Karelia? that's amazing, if I'm not wrong, poker and casino games aren't allowed in Russia, except few countries. I'm actually living outside Russia, in an african country, and playing from there, but it's impossible for me to deposit or withdraw with my russian bank account. I'm using my local bank and crypto. I do know that there are poker players, and outside of the 4 cities, as Sotchi. If you have some info you are ok to share with me you can send me a DM. Have a nice day!

Hi! Thanks for the question! Yes, I live in Karelia, this is the north of Russia. We have a big and beautiful country, and there are places for poker too. Sochi is one of the poker zones. About the bank account - it's not for me. Good luck!

Poker income

The money that poker player earn really depends on the limit and amount of played hands. At nl2-nl5 the average winrate is 7-10bb per 100 hands. So if 1000 hands is played in one day, the income is going to be between 70-100bb a day(2 dollars at nl2 and 5 dollar at nl5). So the monthly income is 60-150 dollar per month. This is reality at the micros on pokerstars. Good luck to everybody!
