Sometimes you have no control over luck when you go in with the best hand. Now, if you continue to go in with worst hand, then it's time to give it up.

Very Little

I am down about $80 over two sites and three years. The first site I played the lowest streaks were .05/.10. That’s high for starters. I started playing a new site for .01/.02 and I’m up on that site. Bottom line. Risk very little. Make sure your playing .01/.02 steaks. Learn.

You don't need to stop playing poker. You just have to stop paying to play. There are so many freeroll options available out there that there is no need to deposit money to play online. Live poker is different, just don't play with anything that your not willing to part with. If you do the pressure may cause you to lose.

I set my deposit limits on ggpoker and pokerstars at $20 each. That's how much I am willing to lose. I lost lots of money once and I am making sure it doesn't happen again.

It depends on the person, for some it will be enough to lose $ 100 and he will stop playing poker, someone may lose $ 1000 and will continue to play anyway.:)

Hi, Pokersplayers.
Please tell me how much money need to lose to understand that poker is not for you ?))))

Sorry for my English, I am only learning the language.
To understand this, many of us not only have money, but our whole life will not be enough. I play for fun, so I don’t worry too much about it. Which is what I wish for you. :qs4:

I think this understanding will never come if a person is passionate. Plus, poker is an equal opportunity game, and every player believes he'll be lucky someday. In general, I have not met a poker player who would say that poker is not for him and gave up playing.

A person can't quit too soon.

There's a thing called a sample size in every form of playing the odds. Poker is no exception. It takes at, least for me anyway, a pretty big sample size to discover what works and what doesn't. So quitting too soon in poker would do yourself a very large disservice. You don't invest time and money just to quit. Now if I ran out of money and did unsavory things just to play more poker then at that time it may be wise to quit.

You will not lose all your money if you have discipline and patience.

If you play low level or freerolls you will not lose too much. I have been playing a long time and have never felt like I have lost too much. I'd say if I lost over 10 thousand, then I'd feel like I should hang it up.

If you are a beginner in poker, you must first participate in the free tournaments and also play in play money mode.
But if you are not a beginner, you must seriously follow the rules of the bankroll. I think we should not make poker a way to win money, in order to relax in the game and achieve good results.

It’s different for everyone

I would say I’ve easily lost 30k playing poker. I had a bad drinking problem before I was 21 and I have a good job so it’s not horrible or detrimental to my lively hood and on top of that there’s been at least 15 winning days I’ve left the poker room from 1 or 2 200 dollar buy ins walking out with over $1,000. My biggest cash I went from a 1/3 to a 2/5 game originally just 200 dollars and left with 3400 dollars.
I won my first time in a card room my 21st birthday at midnight.

hello

I believe that it is not a question of losing or winning money, one knows internally if a regular is a good player trying to overcome that level which is not easy at all ... if you do not like training and learning the variants and variables of the game I recommend that you do not keep going because you are going to lose more than you are going to win ... you may be lucky from time to time but in the long run you are going to be stricken !!! regards
