Hey. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely do so. Good luck!

Thanks. I am too of the opinion that life is one, and there is no need to deny yourself something good.:dancing2:

I'm losing a little bit. I win too. I can distinguish bluffs. This often helps to win))

I hope your wife does not read your post. I would be offended by my husband, but I would laugh

P. S. I played with you at table at PokerStars)) Do you play freerolls?

No, this could not be, I often play freerolls but I don’t play on pokerstars, because I still haven’t made a deposit there)););)

I think money for poker should be money just for poker without worries.....Same how it is with money for bills..........You must play poker with the money what you can afford a possible loss...Like in everything you will go down and up.

Of course, you need to set a limit for yourself. For example, it’s difficult for me to do this, and I often drain money in poker ... <(((({

The amount you lose because poker is passion will never be enough. It is like saying how many soccer games you need to see so that you stop liking soccer

Hi, Pokersplayers.
Please tell me how much money need to lose to understand that poker is not for you ?))))

Sorry for my English, I am only learning the language.

I can't say how much exactly I've won online, but it's above 100K, started with free $50 starting capital somewhere in year 2010, and ended up playing serious daily poker somewhere in year 2016. Also won quite a lot playing live. Continued playing from time to time till 2018, and since 2018 till today i'm playing only for fun.

What I've realised?

1) I can earn much much more money by doing business = doing something useful for the society, and society (in form of the market) will gladly pay me back.

2) I feel myself much much better knowing that I earn much more, on stable basis and I make use for the society... I haven't had that feeling when I've played poker.

3) I steel feel myself terrible knowing the fact that I've generated much more rake than money that I've won. Yes, I had huge rake back options back in the past, but still I feel like I've been working for several poker sites...

4) I also feel that it's better to earn money while I'm observing the nature through the glass window. It's much better than observing 12 "poker tables" through "LCD window".

I think the important thing is to do a bank, if you do a decent bank and you do not play half a bank in each session, there is no way you will break. If you have $ 50, play games of the lowest, not those of nl25 because in one session you can run out of banking.

well, lose, everyone loses, but there are people who play for the pleasure of the game, winning is just a detail, it's like paying for the cinema ticket, you go, watch the movie, but it takes nothing, just the pleasure of that moment. ;)

I guess you ask that because you want to make a lot of money on poker. No one takes a lot of money at the beginning of playing poker. At least that's what I think. Feel free to deny me the one who immediately started taking a lot of money. :) It depends exclusively on you, how much money you want and have to invest. Poker has to be learned, and it takes a long time to master.

For a beginner it would always be smart to start online poker with freerolls because there is really no risk of losing any money that way. After earning some money in freerolls the decision would be to go play cash and low buy-in tournaments.

Hi, I think you can lose nothing and understand that poker is not yours. You may lose 10,000$ and be upset, but the next day win 100,000$ and you will become a very happy person. If a person does not like poker, it is unlikely that he will invest money (because investing in something you do not like is a bad idea)

I lost a few dollars (literally a few) and am playing freerolls for now. I could certainly afford to deposit a few hundred but it’s complicated due to local laws. I opened an account at ACR and got ten dollars free, went up to 23 during the corona boom, and went down to two dollars. I may do a bit better at the beginning of next month.

Why lose money at all, because you can try playing freerolls. It takes place quite often and if you have not been able to win a single game for say a year then you should think about ending your career)))

It's always to stay within your means of gambling, Never gamble what you can't afford to lose.
I myself have had alot of faults in staying in control of my gambling.

Maybe study bank roll management and hit the books.

advice from me is to look at poker like a hobby. imho if you decide to look at it like a job sooner or later you will end up with zero in the bank. maybe even owe money. almost all pros have been there.
so as with all hobbies you spend only if this is excess money left over that you will not regret losing. of course if you dont have enough for rent, bills, food etc it would be wise not to play poker imo.
