Everybody in my family plays poker. It's a tradition to play poker every Thursday evening together. It is fun and it's good for family ties.

My mother hates me playing online poker.. she said that to me that i dont have future playing poker.. i just shut my mouth try not have reasoning with my mom so that conversation will end fast.. so when i play online i shut my door and locked it.. haha.. well i have to figure it oit myself i have future here. 😊

Wife always scorns me for playing on line poker. Once, I was playing in a $30,000 tournament and my daughter go up set because they were visiting and I was on the computer. Needless to say, I did not do well in the tournament .

I use to play many hours a day. But, now play very little.

I never lose money. Only time I ever made a deposit was about ten years ago when I deposited $10.00 into pokerstars to play the penny rings.

Every since, I play real money only with freeroll winnings.

They think Im wasting my time. I guess they would feel different if I was making more than lunch money. I tried to explain BRM and the grinding process. They still dont like it.

But to me making 5 to 10 bucks daily from nothing doing what I love is way better than working a 9-5 and making 40-60 bucks and hating my life.

I dont have kids or a wife. So why the hell not!

I've been playing online for so long my family doesn't really care, there kinda use to it ,but I play maybe 3 or 4 hours a week so not all that much ,about the only thing my wife say's about it is to keep it down and quit all that cussing lol!!!

Poker scares Very NON que understand How the Game and The Jocks ... At Least anywhere Where I live , there is great prejudice against poker, but I managed to convince much of my family have a good view A make poker , but STILL Meeting difficulty convincing The Oldest and rusty heads haha

I live with my mother. She thinks I play too much, which is right I will be taking break this week and start playing more seriously and not just for fun starting from June (when exams are gone) I will be hopefully be in freerooll club so that I don't have play with bad players, which will not improve my MTT poker game. I hope people change theirs views that poker is not gambling unlike casino, since it is heavy based on tactics. There is luck involved but it's not enough to let you win tournament or be successful in long run since players based on luck will be bust their bankroll soon after winnings.

You will never receive support from significant others or family when it comes to gambling - they feel it is waste of time and consuming your soul. You do have to show them it is profitable and something you enjoy. Nobody complains when the money comes in unfortunately and very little support is showed until then as it is seen as a hobby that is looked down upon. It is unfortunate but for those who are not as educated on what a smart player can profit will not support. Good luck with the cards and hope you can bring home good steady profits and prove them wrong!
