How to deal with 'beggers'

Play more on PS where they get rid of beggars so fast, you almost never see them on the site. Not sure why FTP doesnt do a better job of taking care of this problem.

I always offer to take them home and let then mow my yard for a fee. Have had a couple accept the offer . Got my lawn mowed made some friends and always enjoyed myself.

This thread make me think that theres prolly professional beggars out there,who just scour poker sites beggin for money.The good ones prolly have more money at sites than we do,lol
The way I see it,if they are online begging,they could be online playing a freeroll or something and earn their own money.If they cant freeroll their way,I dont feel sorry for them.I freeroll all of my online cash,so I know its possible.

You can mute individual observers by clicking on their chat and opening player notes. You have no idea how many people I have muted with the note "annoying rail chat" or "password beggar".

Your method is funny but too much effort. I have to agree with the instamute.

Don't most sites not allow people to beg for cash. It must be very distracting to have to deal with that during a game. Has never happened to me but Im pretty new and don't play every day

I get more people asking for passwords than anything else. But I have had people ask for cash. Yeah, it's pretty annoying but I find the no response along with the instamute works fine.

I just ask them to beg really really hard.. than I copy/paste the TOS rule that says begging is not allowed and can result in your account being frozen, and tell them I just copy/pasted their convo and sent to to chat abuse, even though I didn't... and that usually gets em to go away lol

I always crack up whenever I see a bunch of beggars asking the pros for money on FullTilt. These guys are asking Ivey and Antonius for like $5, and they are gambling on average like $30,000 a hand. It's pretty ridiculous honestly, and they get really annoying pretty quickly. The box fills up way too fast with comments, and your eyes hurt if you are trying to play and the comment box is in the corner. It's a part of online poker though, one of the few drawbacks of playing online.
