Maybe if you have ADHD and get it from a psychiatrist that would be OK. Otherwise messing with a amphetamines is a bad a idea. They will make you schizo.
I have read that someplayers play better after some substances , soft drugs , weed maybe . Personally , they have no good effect on me , neither in poker sessions nor in other life matters . Better invest the money on study material and software , not in drugs , for poker progress and better results , lol
Yep i agree id rather invest in the studying the game, but i get the reason some pple may look to drugs...coz poker is a mentally taxing game and for some ppl finding that edge can only come through drugs.
Not to mention that poker itself can be a drug.
I advice ppl to find the balance... Coz anything in excess can be a problm
I don't do drugs but there are several players at our weekly home game who smoke weed. It's weird to me that they play poker like any other player and you can't tell they are high. In my youth I'd get high, and no way could I focus on playing poker. What's changed?
If you win decent sums of money by using drugs, then you can use them. It should be borne in mind that in the future you will need time and money to get rid of your addiction to drugs !!
I haven't tried drugs, but as many mention, I would assume in short time it could benefit with some drugs, but in long run i don't see any drugs benefit.
There is a lot of information on taking all kinds of drugs, how harmful they are in the short and long term. More beneficial is to aim for a comprehensive healthy life, food, exercises, good weighing and feelings. That will enhance your life including playing poker!
Good luck
I personally like being high while playing, weed helps me relaxing me, staying more focused and even enjoying it more but I don’t considere weed a drug so I don’t think will work
Personally, I like to be high while I play, marijuana helps me relax, stay more focused and even enjoy it more, but I don't consider marijuana to be a drug so I don't think it works
I totally agree, it is a matter of how the person assimilates it ... Personally it helps me a lot to be focused but without abusing or depending on it at all times.
Hi! I've never tried drugs. But I don't think they can help in any way, they only create an illusion. I think they can ruin a lot of things. Alcohol is something similar. When you get bolder, you can win something if you're lucky. But then the boundaries are blurred and you lose everything.
