Alwaysdrink is good but only if water or other drink to relax and stay attentive .The alcoholic beverages consumed not recommend because they are obviously harmful and seriously affect your game and when making serious decisions.

I sometimes drink beer while playing poker, but when I drink strong drinks vodka or cognac, then I do not play poker and I postpone the game the next day because in a state of intoxication I can make many mistakes and this can lead to a loss!

To drink when I play online, never (ok! poker is poker, not for me). Offline (nice term) is nice because it adds some level of socializing. Poker night. It’s a time for snacking food, pizza, beer, whisky.

honestly can say if i drink i play better, usually in 4-6 pint region, if above that and i m too drunk i play bad, i can honestly say i made most of my bigger final tables under the influence, it stopped the nerves because i had problems keeping composure n being nervous, checking average stacks and payouts too often, when drinking i play more n enjoy n not worry too much about busting, also more tendinancy to bluff, but with control, craziest thing i did when drinking was in christmas period, i had whisky gifted as present, i drank half a bottle and reg a $108 hyper hu on star, think i beat 3 oppents to make final table and we chopped for $1200 or so, was probably only 2nd time that entire year i strayed from my usual tight bankroll mangement guidelines, i play on stars as andrewj500050

I typically only play on vacation, so I like to enjoy a drink or 2 at the table. When I was in Vegas, I had 2 fun sessions at Flamingo while sipping on a drink or 2. Hit my first straight flush in the afternoon session, with both of my cards, and I got a $200 bonus for it!

There are certain games I wouldn't drink in, but I think a drink or 2 can help people liven up and have fun at the table!
