Being the best player does not mean that you will win every time. Poker is not like other sports where everyone has a (nearly) completely even conditions. You never know how the cards are going to fall. The best player should win more often the rest, but not guaranteed.

Not always a bad player can have a lucky day, where all things will go well, and win a tournament.

you cannot always

anyone who thinks they should win all hands will probably end up playing with themselves in the end

The best player often win 60/100 or 70/100 of all in situation, its always luck you have to avoid that 30%.

But its an addictive game

Definitely not. That’s why you never see Helmuth, Ivey, Negreanu or any other poker pro winning the wsop or EPT year after year

When I learned to play, I lost less. But to win, I do not have enough experience and skill :dong:

Surely have noticed that the poker games give for a lot. On the one hand, these can last a good number of hours and, on the other hand, there is a lot of tension.

No one always win in poker, and it says it does or lies or does not play poker. - Amarillo Slim.!

Accepts you'll have spells of losses as well as winning streaks. If you feel very frustrated, it is time to stop playing. I say to the players who must recognize when it is time to abandon. It is one of the most important aspects to become a successful player in the world of poker - Phil Ivey.!

If the luck not influenced the poker, I would always win." - Phil Hellmuth.!

You may have noticed that when someone is good at poker, although not always win, makes it most of the time. However, sometimes we can see authentic newbies gaining great games without even knowing them as they have been able.

For me, the poker is a combination of both factors. Neither one nor the other separately will make you a star player. In the long term, will always gain the good player, that is, the one with more skills and knowledge of the game. It is true that the fate of the beginner can exist, but never in the long term. Now you know, try to develop to the maximum your capabilities and that luck will accompany you.

Does the good player always win?

good evening everyone
Does the good player always win?
I'm answering this question angry at the results that are repeated on pokerstars, the villain is very deep and I'm 20bb or less with KK or AA and almost always villain tricks with a marginal hand:
AA losing to JTs
KK tied with 87th and KJo
KK losing to A5o with set of 5
I'm not complaining about bad bet, I'm complaining about these results that don't happen on other sites and the problem is that I like to play pokerstars software.
In the micro limits villains know the software and call with marginal hands and win at a very high frequency.
There is a hand that I have 12bb with KK and one villain goes All in with 21bb, I call and another villain over 100bb will call and has a solid 64s. All in Crew KK vs A5s vs 64s, and the worst pre flop hand wins, only at pokerstars.

noo , poker is the game where luck is involved, so it's just impossible to win all the time, even if you are the best player in the world

I think it is not the best player who wins but the best game you have on the table and know how to use it, there are times that good players know how to make you fall into the bluff trap and you don't even realize that you have the best hand, Therefore, if you have it and you are a good player, surely your chances of winning will always be 7 out of 10, by the way, 7 out of 10 is a very high successful percentage, keep it up ;)

Hi, I'm 16 and think I've become a serviceable poker player, especially for my age. But I'm wondering if I'm the best player at my table should I win every time? I'd say I win about 7 out of 10 times in both my regular games and I'm wondering should I win every time? I just can't help but think since the pros like hellmuth and Ivey probably mop the floor with lesser players then that means I should. So I guess what I'm wondering is how often should I expect to win?

The best player never "always wins". The luck of the draw is what outcomes a winner. If you think or even are the best player in the world that doesn't mean you will win. Take a simple hand from earlier today... I had best top pair (straight draw on flop) and still lost on the River to a flush draw even though I was 5 betting each draw. So, no. The Simple Answer.

EDIT: And I got my Straight on the edit(RIVER) but they got their Flush on the River.

Unsure if this is a "real quote" from the Bad Boy but... yeah... I feel his pain when you do everything right and the cards just don't fall your way.

I feel that way everytime I log into Cardschat btw.... I post stuph that I think is funny or something off-topic and I get Destroyed by the Powers That Be. BTW I won't see any of you 25+ members I'm banned from playing. See you maybe down the Road.

Random cards .. that is your answer

Since poker involves dealing basically random cards then luck must play a factor in winning. Someone said it well and I agree .. I am not the best poker player but good enough to win occasionally. And if I won ... the best player did not.:)

Yes it is - you have to have a good mindset and then you can become best in that particular situation but keep in mind that it is extremely difficult to do that on regular basis, so basically your life becoming an urge of finding a good mindset but again it is pretty difficult to find that mindset and keep it for every situation and so on and so on..

Your not even old enough to gamble online!! Supposed to be 18 or older to create an account and pass verification.

Is your bankroll that large where you can play poker with no school?

Skill and experience help a lot... But It`s always 90% luck, at tournamets you win or lose way before it finish or you`re out.. there are what I call clue hand, is when you won or lose lots of chips in 1 hand..

Not always. Especially on pokerstars can hand out a fantastic crush not in favor of a good player.

The best players need min 50% luck. Components of the game are not only knowledge.

The best player does not always win. You can only hope that in the long run, you more often then lose. This would mean you are a winning player. Good luck!
