I actually really like him as a player, and want him to do well. But the field is pretty insane, hard to bet on a single player to win the whole thing.

Daniel has all the ability, but also need not to make mistakes, a good portion of luck to your advantage, it's such a massive event that need for many flips to hit him.

Both great points. I still think that if any big time pro is gonna win it, it will be Daniel.

Yes, because of his ability to read players.

As good as Daniel is, the field is huge, the odds are very much against him winning. But, he's got a helluva better chance than me ...

Although I think he's favored to go far, the amount of players and variance just muddles their skill for one event. So I think it's very unlikely he'll win,

Totally agree!

I think if you think otherwise you're just fooling yourself or don't know that much about tournament poker.

I personally can't believe that this accomplishment, for a man of his reading abilities @ the tables, has not won yet!

Why? - I just think there are to many runners. I mean look at @moneymaker effect. As fantastic as he was for the game. He didn't half swell the entrants. Not that im against this phenomenon, it just goes back to those "size of fields that they have to contend with" As previous comments have said " the size of fields players like Unger, Doyle & Co had in the past" It's obvs to my cat that they have a better off chance for the coveted price of the bracelet!

I do feel if he gave it a little less of the talking @ the tables would improve his game. Now I am not saying stop = halt. Just trim it down a bit.

I think if he keeps @ it. Then i would back him to win the main event within the next five years!

Be lucky guys. Just noticed.......soz da book man. Peace!

I voted no on the survey but I do believe he is very capable of winning the main event.

That being said the field is so large you have to run good for a long time and the odds are against him.

I hope I am wrong and would love to watch him in November.

Would love to see him win but there are way too many entries. Best of luck to him!
