I play almost every day in online poker, I do not have a casino in town where I could play live poker, but I really want to try playing live poker tournaments or cash games, I want somewhere to win a ticket to live tournaments and Play poker with live players and feel the adrenaline like other players who play live poker feel!

I prefer to play online poker. Playing on the Internet, I feel more comfortable - here I can make tea or listen to music at any time. In live poker I rarely play with friends and it's fun and exciting.

Live is definitely more fun but I'm not the best at reading physical tells yet so online is more profitable for me.
Also, where I live, the options for playing face to face are very limited. A few friends get a home game going now and then, but it's no fun cleaning out you're friends

Both have their good sides. In online mode you have the option to choose the best time to play, the amount of tables that you want and still have the comfort issue. In live mode you have the social side that is fundamental and in addition, playing only a single table at a determined time, the tendency is stay more focused.

I would play live ... no one with whom!:shot::ridinghor:albertein

all my games are online, although there are more pluses than minuses, because, I think - a live game it's real great Poker. Emotion of players, psychology, verbal actions - this is what you should learn!

playing live is a good experience, it is for all tastes and it would be nice to see the country as well, since in some the casinos are forbidden

I play 99% online and love it. I have played maybe a dozen times live. I cashed once and won a tournament. I just started playing in a home game. I got crushed all 5 times

Truth should be the case for many players play more online than live because of the little time we have.
Hi.
I only play poker online.
I usually have a lot of work, so I have 2-3 hours a day to play poker online.
Good luck.

Nice glgl
Only play online.

The live game good we can make many friends really liked it by that party.

I'm also doing it.
Play only online. But want to play live tornaments.

This is true as I said before is good to play again and again live tournaments to have fun and make new friends.
I prefer to play online poker, because you do not need to go anywhere. You can just open your laptop and play when you have free time.

You are completely correct I realized that a lot at the tables and is taking I take it quiet.
I started online and the comp was much more tough, then going to local casino/poker hall, WAY more casual than I had expected, lots of old guys/retired folks who just wanted to have fun who really didn't have much poker theory or discipline in their game, just played aggressive. If you have a good head on your shoulders and understand the game fairly well, you'll clean up at live games.

Much to my friend continue this your footprint you fall away.
I have found I play with a lot more patience and better live. I have yet to really master reading peoples "tells" but something about being invested with my time and energy to be in an actual chair makes me play the way I know how to. I get too aggressive on online cash games as do most of the people I seem to come up against. Live poker for me!

I am much better playing live poker than online. People give me more respect in live poker. I can't really play my best online because people don't respect my raises.

Prefer playing live poker over online. Do enjoy the convenience of online but it doesn't compare playing live.

I think in terms of enjoying the game, live is 100% better because you have an actual poker atmosphere including aspects of the game that you can't get online. Now saying this, people tend to be a lot more uncomfortable in a live setting because you need to actively pay attention to everything going on when online you can be fairly robotic.

I prefer real poker with the real cards. It's more fun. Online can be extremely boring and no one talks online. I like talking.

I realized lots of online players don't follow rules, if there's some rules in poker, such as odds, etc. I suppose it's easier to play with some principles. I read somewhere in cardschat a relatively serious poker player who usually won in live poker lost more at online poker.
I never play live poker but I found sometime the techniques I learned didn't work out. Maybe I am still inexperienced consider the time length I've played.

tonight lots of hands I folded would win pot if I didn't, not to mention my pocket aces was beaten by a straight (villain picked a last out at river). I guess it just one of those "unlucky" days...

two times tonight I had two pairs, but there were clearly flush on table and under heavy bets I folded. after showdown I found it's bluff...
Based on tutorial I read I SHOULD read table and fold so I did right things, but when many players don't follow such kind of rules things just get more complicated.

Live games are different and I've almost always found them easier than online games. Some specific things I've noticed is people don't shove enough or call enough in short stack play in live games, at least in my opinion. I also tend to overfold a bit in live games as there is less bluffing and thin value betting in general.

I definitely agree it's smart to play a good amount online. You see so many more hands playing online than live, and have an opportunity to take notes and study a bit while playing or after playing...opportunities you don't really get in live play.

if he has many more players who do not follow the rules online. This is because he simply has more fish that play online without having taken the time to form. It is normal that a player realizes results less important in the short term because he has to face a larger number of players which accentuates the effect of variance on his game.but if it is a pro and it multitable in the long term.il should achieve big profits. He has the opportunity to play several thousand tournaments.

Exactly. In many situations there is much more easy to read cards on face

Online is way harder then Live play in every aspect. I started off playing 5 card draw live. I think that has something to do with it as well.
