Love winning but hate losing. Probably because it is easier to recall what I lost with then what I won with in terms of hands. Maybe my expectations are set to high when I don't qualify in the top 20 percent.

love playing poker learn hand after hand. The best thing so far is You beat yourself, You put your own chips in the middle and if you dont want to lose them make sure you have the nuts.... not i did then the river.

Poker is OK

I don't hate poker neither I love it, is just a game that allows me to spend some time in a competitive way without risking that much money.

before poker, I wasted lots of money trying to figure out slots at live casinos, but that is a no wining scheme, so poker although you loose sometimes you win others and overall spend my time with proper bankroll management.

Neither...its a neutral element for me. I view it as a easier way to earn a income compared to working a 40 hr week job. I actually believe it can be a strong negative , to love poker or love any form of gambling where the luck element can be so strong.

I should elaborate that my above opinions really only apply to medium hi stakes poker games. For many people who play micro/ small stakes and can stay at those insiginificant levels, then I guess there is nothing wrong about loving poker as a pass time/ social experience.

I love poker. It's fun and makes me feel excited while playing. Even when I'm doing poorly I don't hate poker it's just frustrating. It's probably my fault if I'm doing bad. When I get sucked out then I get mad. But overall, poker is an awesome game.

No true at all. Many people hate things, and do it everyday of their lives. For example, their jobs ...or their relationships.

I do not run lucky enough in poker { week after week} to love it. It is a disciplined grind for me. I sit at the table and see so many poor players , who go on long lucky streaks and win, when I know they should be losing 90% of the time they play . When a poor player is running very lucky and a good player is running very unlucky , I find it annoying that the poor player gets rewarded so often. In fact, im the type of player that if I knew ahead of time , before each session that I was not gonna be a decent winner of money, I would completely be able to stay at home and not play that night . I would be able to do some other more enjoyable pass time . I play to win money..first and foremost. Even when I do win , I realize that the next several poker sessions, I may run badly, with cold cards and bad beats that cause me to lose money . Any type of hobby where luck plays such a prevelant role and is bound to make you lose your cash, is a hobby I do not want to fall in love with.
