Poker myths

Do any poker myths appear in your game? For example "always coming 7" or "Brunson hand", that wins you the pot?

In past home games we would do 7 2 bonuses if someone showed a bluff or won with 7 2 it was pretty popular. Winning with a "One time" request from the "poker gods" was hot as well.

I'd be more inclined to call those superstitions or rather, Stupidstitions. I'm always glad to hear when players talk about their "lucky" hands though because that tells me they are inclined to make more bad decisions based on anomalies or variance rather than logic and rational thinking.

I do like to joke about their being a poker god I call "Gamblor" but there's nothing there that ever guides me in making my decisions when rational and logical thinking are always going to serve you better.

• You should practice with play money. i think it s no use playing without money, because when is no stake, the game goes crazy.
