From a tournament player, I will admit that cash is definitely a more complex game. But to imply that cash game players are more intelligent is the same as saying "I play chess and you play battleship, therefore I'm smarter."
In cash games, due to deeper stack sizes relative to the blinds, you often have four streets of betting. This means that
hands you can't play routinely in tournaments become very playable in cash games. In tournament play as the blinds creep up, often the only decision you will end up with is shove or fold, or raise pre-flop and get it in on the flop.
In comparison, within cash games you might have betting decisions all the way to the river making hand analysis much more complex.
