So, what a joke of a show

The bitter hag didnt deserve being in the Finals, but I guess it makes for good TV. Keep bringing up Hitler and defaming Annie Duke. I mean it is just a game--and for charity. Give me a break. SO Annie got rid of her daughter, boo hoo.

Im surprised you guys didnt make fun of this Quote (and I had a couple non-poker playing friends call me during the show to ask about this)

Trump or one of them says..."Annie Duke is the best poker player in the World"

I laughed anyway, and told several friends who had called to ask if that was true (before the show was even over), I said it is really hard to quantify who is the real best player in poker because of Online and Live and various factors, but Annie Duke was definately not in even in Top10 in any imagination (maybe best women)

Tell your husband that ESPN, Harrah's, and the WPT Co. (to name just a few) would beg to differ on who poker "benefits". Quite a few people at those companies wouldn't have a job without poker telecasts, etc.

Peeps in the States can catch the entire thing on nbc.com (I think that's the right network, if not try the others) as of today I think. It is blocked outside the US...

I should have known Annie and Joan would emerge as final 2; not only are they the strongest, but it makes for great TV. HU anyone?

if the us apprentice is anything like the uk apprentice then it's pretty much par for the course for everyone to continually big themselves up, sometimes hilariously inaccurately so.

Love Annie and have actually enjoyed this season thanks to Annie and the antics of the others. Joan sucks and her daughter as well. Keep goin Annie I tkink u got home girl! Ive lost respect for a lot of ppl on this show. Annie is the only one I have gained respect for as a matter of fact.

This show was great! Melissa showed her butt in a bad way and Joan was wayyyyyyyyy over the top. Her insults to poker players were disgraceful. I have no respect for either of them.

On the other hand - I have gained tremendous respect for Annie Duke. Yes - she can be controlling and over bearing but she is hell bent on winning money for her charity and that is what drives her.

She has maintained total respect when being bashed by Joan and has refused to lower herself to Joan's level - and I think that shows incredible control and restraint.

After last night Annie Duke is my hero!

:dito: I agree completely! I never much cared for Joan Rivers but now I despise her and have no respect for her or her spoiled brat daughter either. However, although I've always like Annie, I now have respect for her!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I am disappointed in how much respect Donald has for Joan and the crap he keeps letting her get away with, I did miss the last episode but plan to watch it online this week.

I agree that Annie should take it with ease, but she's still a bit annoying. Joan has been out of line for weeks. She seems to take everything too personally.

Once the final four was revealed, it was obvious that it would be Joan v. Annie due to the venomous war between the two of them. Excellent for the ratings and viewership for a final.

Huge buildup for this epic battle started on NBC. Will be a 3 hour melee on Sunday. Clips so far show each of them losing it -- Annie cant keep her composure forever! And Joan is an old friend of the D.. so...
BTW All of Rivers hitler and white trash comments will not alienate her core followers. Joan is Jewish, and green-eyed Annie Lederer is??? Turning into a race/ethnic/religious war...
