Playing poker with alcohol is fun. But it is bad for your bankroll. I advise you not to play with the alcohol.

Good luck in the game and life;)

Please do not forget that a small dose of alcohol is a good stimulant! It gives a boost of energy and courage! :)
However, the body soon will soon get used to it and will begin to require a double dose of alcohol and so on.. And alcohol will have to act as a relaxing and then a brake-means. The player will weaken attention and will certainly increase the number of errors.
I think for the big tournament games alcohol is very unreliable ally!

I don't get to play live at a casino very often. Maybe 3-4 times a year. Best time I had was playing while I had been drinking. It did loosen me up a bit but I can guarantee it didn't make my game digress. If anything it helped, not only did I have a great time, I brought home more than I ever had.... only 1 time i did this, so the ? is, why I haven't done it more often... and yes it was vodka and red bull!!!!

You want to say that you have a special body?
and do you think that it is necessary, this method - vodka and red bull - it is necessary to constantly apply ?! :) :)

***Common sense and medical science suggest that it is not so!
And, I think, are constantly at each tournament alcohol is not compatible with smart productive game! :)

I think that alcohol greatly interferes with the game! You start to do stupid things in the hope that luck :)

Limit yourself.

I would suggest a limited supply of alcohol on hand if you are at home so you are automatically cut off at some point. Personally, I don't drink and play anymore.

I believe that alcohol is not compatible with the poker. Imagine how an athlete will perform at sporting events being drunk.

What are your thoughts on drinking while playing poker? I think it promotes the "wild" image and can be used as an edge. I like to have a few drinks, then start acting drinker than I am. I find it will get calls I normally wouldn't get. That is as long as you don't actually get that drunk. Does anyone else use drinking like this? I'm talking about live play if you couldn't figure that out. What are y'alls thoughts?

If we talk about a live game and you are very worried players can read you
then maybe it makes sense to drink a little alcohol to calm down a bit, to bring myself up and confuse opponents on the game if it is finite works for you.

A few beers in yourself as long as the tournament is not dangerous, just to relax and maybe laugh when you lose your hand (rather than break things around the room :)), short drinks does not need to use it can happen to sleep during the tournament (I know from experience):D

I do this quite often usually in 1/2 and 2/4 games. Usually I have success early on but what I've found is that the more you act the more people start calling your raises going 3 sometimes 4 handed to the river and someone usually ends up sucking out

Alcohol adversely affects the game as a whole, however, some people sometimes reasonable amounts of alcohol can help is game.
