In principle the answer would be no. But it has many variants. I think preflop never fold KK. But after the flop you have to analyze what came out. They can be three cards of the same suit or consecutive. There may also have been an ace or two matching cards. I think that in these cases we have many chances of losing and generally fold in this situation.

Whether or not to play with a house pair depends on many factors, its position at the table, the chips you have under your belt, if other players have already called before, the bets that have been made ... there is no specific rule, also how advanced or when the tournament is going ... sometimes confidence in yourself also influences
