Depends, if it was vs a player who is super tight then I might think twice. Or as you said, if we are on the bubble. But in general no!

If i were playing cash and it was for my whole stack i would consider folding kings if running twice wasn't an option

Not unless there were ICM considerations.

hi

I would never throw kings, Preflops only one hand is better and the chance to hold it our opponent is very small

I don’t think that I would fold KK preflop. There are so many player who put all in with nothing. And with pocket Kings you want as much value as possible. Especially preflop because you don’t want to let somebody hit accidentally a three of a kind or two pairs without paying to see the flop. Lot‘s of hands will fold preflop if you trying to get value.

I agree totally with your assessment.

I don't fold hands above QQ (included) on preflop.
Many players put all-in with such cards as KJ, KT, A9 and etc.
So, QQ and KK has high chances to win - more than average when you put all-in.

In tournaments I wouldn't fold, but in cash games I would if I knew very well the villain who is putting me all in against random players, I wouldn't.

The question is phrased wrong, it should be "Why would you fold KK preflop?"

I'm not sure if I could fold pocket KKs preflop. There would have to be some unique circumstances for me to fold that hand preflop and I haven't encountered those yet.

Always go all-in with kings because even if the guy has aces you still might win :)

Fold KK and AA often in tourneys. If I'm out of position and 2 or more people are all in I don't like the odds the way the bingo players hit online. If my stack is so large that it wont really affect me I might take a chance but surely not willing to risk it all.:D:D

Not yet. A few days story:
unibet online poker, "Qualification €50 supermoon" tournament, the first 10th player won the ticket for another satelite.
We have already 14 player or alittle less, and i don't have too much chips, maybe 3.0BB
I got pocket Kings, another guy called All-in in the preflop, everyone fold, i can't fold my kings sooo hads-up is on.. :D
When i see the another guy called all-in for the 7 pocket pair i smiled.
Apoiler Alert: The guy got the set on the river, and i lost the tournament.

of course. in few many occasions. for example on the bouble when short and got one or two places to reach itm. in the cash game in 4 bet pot preflop befor me, or in every spot ehen i dont like to gamble my stack. if you feel that you can gain your chips by post flop play against your opponents its easy to not gamble preflop. if you gonna gamble it through, you need to know that many time you stand against AK AQ Ax and any A on the board send you to the rail.. whats better? hold on chips or leave table?
