Yes sir. The second one with the 33 was a gift from god. the first one was a gift from myself. The river check/raise was brilliant. hehehhe. I really do love it when i check rivers that i know their going to bet and then get them to call the check raise as well.

Amen.:D:D

And when i thought everything was going well, this happend.

start throwing the tomatoes guys. My river play here is so fishy. I think i get caught up in the heat of the moment or something. I KNOW as a fact that im beat here.

Its just that with all the BS ive seen these donks do, i call down light sometimes and get punished.

I personally don't bet the turn there since we have position and can see a free river on a board that generally means straights/flushes are medium strength. On the river, I would most certainly fold and not even think twice about it really. You gotta be right 42% of the time or more here and I seriously doubt you are.

this maths is clearly not true, pot odds never offer us worse than 1:1 so the limit on equity required to call is 50%. where do you get 70% from?

Checking flop here is totally fine. From good regs we'll get floats and stuff but from the usual weak-tight fit or fold players postflop, we don't make anything. I can see some merit for the FD, but I'd rather just let him try to catch up or at the very least when we delayed cbet we get called lighter even than on the flop I feel.

except that over pairs to the board/ flush draws/ and even Ax hands all probably don't fold. and these are all hands that action killers hit on the turn.

This is exactly the way i thought about it while in hand. Since i got the stone cold nuts here, i must be sure that he is going to catch up.

Funny thing is he had pocket fours so his shove wasnt horrible. sick cooler. kinda felt badfor the guy. we were both trying to outslowplay eachother.

Why risk raising here. He might not even have the king and even if he does and i raise he might fold it because he might put me on a 6. I dont see him not firing another bullet on the river with the king. And i also let him catch even a third king on the river so i can get his stack or two pair or smthng.

you don't need people to flop a boat to stack them, also not gtd that Kx bets on river spec with a weak kicker

Well, i could be wrong but, it seems to me that by raising this turn we show extreme strength and might get him to fold kx or whatever when we can always try and get some more value on the river.

We are risking the extra money that we dont make if he folds.
