I'm on Bovada. In case you don't know, it's anonymous, features a form of poker similar to "rush" or "zoom" poker that they call zone. The anonymous aspect means no tracking software unless you use special HH conversion software ($14 or so), and no HUD unless you use something called "Hold'Em Indicator" (I think like $100). Fwiw, I bought the HH conversion software and it works quite well. I do not use a HUD, since I primarily play the zone tables. If I ever moved up to like 1/2 where they only have regular tables, I'd consider buying the HUD.

The cash game traffic seems to be quite decent all the way up to 100nl for regular tables. Zone 25nl appears to run 24/7, with 5nl next in terms of traffic. 50nl runs almost nightly, and 10nl seems to run approximately every other weekday night, and most weekend nights.

How do you like that "anon" aspect? It would be kind of nice not to worry about a HUD , but at the same time i recall the up and downs of rush poker being ridiculous lol.

They have regular tables too i assume? for 10 and 25 NL?

That's the main thing that bugged me about Blackchip, the traffic sucks huge donkey schlong

I've written a bit about the anon stuff elsewhere, so I'll try to remember to direct you there at some point, but off the top of my head: Bovada is so soft that the anonymity actually favors thinking players imo, just because we can take solid default lines and hand read well. I've hit a series of swings at Zone, most notably at 25nl, but I play a pretty loose style there. Yes, Bovada has regular tables, at all stakes (up to 10/20). Imo traffic is pretty good. Especially if you play regular tables, but keep in mind there is a 4-table limit. So you will almost certainly want to mix zone tables and regular tables if you're looking for a real grind.

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is CO with 3 3
UTG raises to $4, 1 fold, Hero calls $4, BTN calls $4, SB calls $3, 1 fold

Flop: ($18.00) 6 3 K (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $12, BTN calls $12, SB raises to $44, UTG folds, Hero folds, BTN folds

Final Pot: $54.00
SB wins $51.57

Seems like an awfully tight fold to me, especially without any additional info. I could be wrong but a call pre at a discount to the small blind with so many people would be a very wide range IMO, perhaps they are reraising donking the board with a nice k or perhaps they got a K6, hard to think your looking at 66 there unless some kind of soul read.

Just my thought, any reason for such a tight fold (not really much said in your post unless i missed one prior to it but don't think I did).

Just took notice it was a check/raise line, so you could well be correct. Perhaps my problem there is I wouldn't have thought to much, which could have been good (if he didn't have the 66) or bad(if he did) cause I don't think I could have laid it down(again unless had more info on villian making the raise). Obv possibly a leak i will be in need of plugging.

I mean it's a 4way, single raised pot. What does villain x/r for value other than 66 here? 63s? I kind of doubt it. He's obv re-raising AK pre, and I doubt there is any other Kx he takes a x/r line with. So unless he has any bluffs (he'd have to be an absolute sicko for this, and I'd assume he'd need some drawing equity to do this), then we can fold. EZ game. Also should be noted that x/r-ing into a bet and a call is fairly suicidal with a bluff usually.

But wtf do I know - it's 200nl.

Edit: Can he x/r a suited 54 with a backdoor FD? That's the only possible air hand I could see, and there's 3 combos of it. Only 3 combos of 66 too though, so yeah. I'm thinking a 54 prob just x/c though.

Yeah I mean honestly it's not a huge deal if I just stack off there not like it's gonna come up a lot but it's set over set a lot I think and I think given the spot it's a fold. There are 2 combos of k6s and I think he folds most of those pre anyway (or 3-bets them) plus might not even raise them because wtf is gonna call? He has full 3 combos of 66 and it's pretty hard to come up with enough bluffs here even if he occasionally raises 54s it's still gonna be a fold. I think for it to be anything but a fold he'd have to have some pure bluffs in his range and I don't think anyone does in a 4-way pot with a bet and a call in front. And like honestly in my spot my betting range is literally 33/66 there I guess maybe 45s if I have it but I most likely am folding or 3-betting that pre anyway. So as sick as it may seem I have the bottom of my range, the guy's never bluffing, so I think it's fine to fold there.

Oh plus button probably plays all his 66 hands this way as well and although it's still only 3 combos it's not like his range is super-wide either for flatting my flop bet.

I wouldn't go as far to say that folding a set there is "ez game" lol.
Folding sets there in any limit below 200nl feels like really bad to me. Especially when were talking like 10nl.

edit: oops, I thought this was microcrushers thread, nvm!!!
