I'm sure most of you guys know about the Isle of Mann TT, but if you haven't actually seen what these guys do here's a 5min clip. I've ridden motorbikes pretty ****ing fast but these guys are banzai crazy. Over 180mph through streets and narrow country lanes. Some of the crashes in this are scary... I'm told no one died but I'd be amazed if that was true.

Grrrr... Neither the state I'm living in nor the one I call home will have OLP in the particularly near future. Here's to hoping wherever I end up after school gets on the ball though!!

Yeah,,,, don't do that.

I'm still really young and I just don't think law school is the right fit for me. Especially since school is so expensive (45k+ per year), unless my heart is fully "in it" , I shouldn't waste my time/money

Wow deuces. Let's chat sometime. Didn't realize you weren't digging law school so much...

Guys. I flopped top two and rivered the nut boat with AQ on AQ2r 8x Ax, and triple barrel jammed all in for ~4x pot. I was snap called by Q5s on each street: http://gyazo.com/22de8ec9524d629bc1cf3961a517ea18

THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED ^

As long as you have a decent enough cushion such that if poker fails you can still go back, I'd say go for it. Also if you do go for it make sure you're smart with money, plenty of poker players go broke because when they're running good they spend unsustainably and then when they run bad they run out of money. gl and hit me up on skype if you want to talk I've got a pretty good idea on the whole poker vs. school thing and the obstacles that come up when playing full-time/going back to school/etc. Not only have I done it myself but I also know a lot of people who have both succeeded and failed.

Save up some back-up cash. Never touch anything that isn't rake-back. When you first start out move back in with your parents if they'll let you :p.

definitely, i'll hit you up

I've got a nice roll + minimal bills + cheap housing. Don't really want to move back in with parents unless it's absolutely necessary.

Honestly, i'm just afraid of looking back when i'm in my 30's and thinking "what if" . I know poker is probably a pipedream, but at 22, with good grades and financially stable enough to try, I juts feel like I can't pass it up

lol just filtered for times I flatted 4-bets. I filtered for flatting a 4-bet and not being allin preflop (so ignores shorty shoves) and had all hands other than JJ+/AK. I had 153 hands where that happened and my winrate is -94.64bb/100 or less than 1bb/hand which is pretty amazing. Assume average 3b size is 8bb (I do 8.5bb over 3x IP, 9.5x over 3x oop, and 7x against button minr. IP against minr I do 6x but that rarely happens), so that means over those hands I lost 144.8bb when if I had folded I would have lost 1224bb. Not a huge sample but still basically flatting 4-bets with non-premium hands has won me almost 11 buy-ins compared to folding them. This db has roughly 200k hands of mostly 200nl zoom, with a bit of 200/400nl 6m non-zoom tables.
