long story short, i got down as low as 12 and then said **** it and sat NL25 HU and lost it all. Thats my MO.

I will be back but im taking a short break. I will deposit and play higher stakes next time.

If i never went on tilt i could have won at NL2. In fact, poker tracker shows me a $31.39 winner in NL2 over 8966 hands. Im a big loser @ 6max NL2 @ $-28.12 over a 2942 hand sample. HU nl2 im a loser @ $-9.02 over a 1034 hand sample.

Honestly, i could have done so much better at the full ring games of NL2 if i avoided tilt and played less total. Those are big ones for me. and looks like i should be avoiding HU and 6 max in general as well.

Sorry to hear RoboGrinder, probably need to work on the tilt/mental game a little - but honestly it happens at one time or another to most everyone.

Looking forward to your return!

When you are no longer thinking as you normally do, that's time to quit.

I have been on a two month bad run. Today I got on the edge of tilting so I had to just log off.

Villain calls 3bet shove preflop from me. I have AdKd. He has A3 no diamonds. Flop is QJ5 with 2 diamonds. Pretty sweet right?

2 outter on river. The end. Everyday it's the same BS.

If I kept playing I probably would have lost all the coins in my account. Just gotta stop.

I understand your line of thinking.

Here is mine.

Poker is a game of never ending upswings and then downswings. Those who win just play man. They don't spew to much in the bad times, and they make plenty in the good times. These things are going to happen. We have to just play, and play well. Each downswing I endure, I get closer to this.

I agree, mental fortitude is so important but so difficult to achieve, i'm still struggling with this, every time a fish wins a pot that he shouldn't even be in pisses me but i know i have to keep my cool.

i havent returned to the realm of online poker just yet. actually working out a regular rake free cash game at my house with some fishy players. going to focus on live cash and live tourneys for a bit. i may not return to online arena until colorado legalizes online poker, (which i believe would be great as it should provide more fish in the pool, compared to the current state of things.
