this was a tuff hand. I had notes on the villan that he was shoving his whole stack in earlier, really bad play. green tagged him. so when i was playing this against him i figured he very easily could be going nuts with a draw or a pair or less.

In spots like these, when we fist pump get it in, be ready to lose a fair amount of the time. Even draws and stuff have a fair amount of equity vs us here. Also, people will generally play made hands fast because they are scared of getting drawn out on....

beanfacekilla,

i like my pre flop play, raising it up to .10 in lp after 1 limper.

lets see, alternatively i could have checked the flop after they checked to me. when the ace came off on the turn i could either fold to a bet or check turn. Checking there, with the overpair would have saved me $$$. With JJ though, in a 3 way raised pot, after the 2 checks to me on T high flop, i think it would be a mistake to not bet. Seems very likely that either or both villans have high card holdings. Feels like im currently ahead, but many many turn cards will hurt me. It was a coordinated flop though. Like i said, tuff hand. Villan had been observed going all in pre flop with 73o earlier that day, which i couldnt help but think about during this hand. I really thought he would have AT there. :(

Of course you bet flop. Agreed. When you get raised, and you jam for 3x the raise, I'm just saying expect to be a slight favorite or crushed that's all. It's just a high variance spot.

I don't mind the play though. Just know the value of your hand in this spot, that's the only point I'm trying to get across.

That hand is fine though IMO, not 100% sure about 3b flop jam, but I can get behind it I guess.

i had decided that he wasnt going to have a flush draw after he called my 4 bet on the flop, so i went for value inspite of the club on turn. he raised, im suprised, committed any way so easy call. weak flush draw on its own is all he called with on the flop. gross. Im trying hard and running bad! taking yet another break after another shitty result. bummer.

He is in two of my subscribed threads saying one liners that make very little sense. Either English is not strong suit, or he is trying to increase post count for freeroll club.

im trying to mix it up for the sake of my table image, and i get to see a flop now. i think villian likely has high cards or a low pair here. on the flop im outta position but i feel like a strong bet here will get a fold a huge % of time. I do and it works.

thoughts??

imo, I think the sizing is incorrect last hand K A. There is no idea to 4bet that small. He can call 72o and still he gets right odds. Better size is around 22, then the pot is 44 and we can shove rest 39 in on the flop. I would have just called the 3bet, because 117 hands no 3bets his range to 3bet should be assumed to be very strong. What we did was almost like a pot sweetener raise, with a hand that probably is behind.

Also there is no point of raising that small pre (2bb) because your sizing has very little to do with pre calling ranges at 2NL. We open 2bb, T8s calls, we open 5bb, T8s calls.

Raise bigger pre, like 3-4 BB.

As played, 4b larger.

On flop it's whatever. GII

what about just calling on the flop instead of putting the extra raise in? seeing as its just AK? I think maybe that would have been best?

imo, I think the sizing is incorrect last hand K A.

I think your right. or instead up sizing up my 4bet i think calling maybe was the better play? what do you think?

Guy is so short stacked, and I'm never folding so I just get it in, and hopefully we stack a cancerous short stack in the process, and this 1bb donk lead is just lol and I raise/get it in just to punish him (hopefully). If we were really deep or something that may change things.

wife left for an hour and a half so i figure ill get after it. lol, played 5 minutes on 2 tables and it was pure insanity. Had KK 2X vs same villiain on separate tables. all in pre flop both times vs villains AK and then vs his AA, he won them both. Floped JJJ vs a flush draw and he hit. I did a good job at keeping pot small on that one. In the middle of that, I flopped a boat with TT and played it trappy and got a stack when that villain made a straight on the river. I quit. ****. playing so well and losing sucks. I think we go bowling and drink beers instead of this mind wrecking penny poker bullshit. lol
