It means that it is either the top of your range (AA KK QQ AK etc) or the bottom of your range (small SCs, small PP). A 3betting polarized range should be used against villains that fold to 3bets PF too much, such as nits.

Every time you polarize something you don't have anything in the middle. Like a overbet on the river. It's either the nuts (or close) or total air.

This was my thought process after the hand, in hindsight i think jamming is actually bad because this guy doesn't raise/call with AQ imo, like it sounds sooooo passive but I honestly can't remember seeing a 21/5 raising TPTK lol

Meh maybe being results orientated but he had QJ for two pair and it held up, afterwards I thought that there was a good chance an overpair was behind there.

Played some pub poker last night, structure was shit, started off 100/200 with 20 min blinds, starting stack of 5000 so 25 BB straight off, went out of the first one when I shoved 77 OTB over 2 limpers with 3500 at 200/400, guy in the BB (who actually arranged the whole thing but is a HUGE fish who thinks he knows what hes doing!) tanked for like 5 mins before calling with TT lol, think he was chip leader with about 9 or 10k so **** knows why he thought about folding.

Second one we played I shoved AK for about 5k in the SB after the table limps, get snap called by 77 and luckbox a K on the river to put me in a healthy spot, final hand HU, guy (who isnt actually that bad but was bored and drunk) called my 4K open blind, i check a T8x flop with QTs and he shoves, I call and he turns over 97 for one of the best hands he could have shown there but I hold and take it down for £50, so up £30 pokerwise but i think that just about covered taxi's, beer and food lol

Im still split about playing live. Last tourney I played(in a poolhall), i received raised eyebrows every time I opened with a raise, almost like 'oh, we dont raise here, we limp and see what the flop brings.................' and half the time I was so bored with how long each hand took to play. I took it down(very small field) so thats a plus, but I still dont enjoy it as much as I think I should.

200 hands of 5c/10c limit 6max, 4-tabling. First time Ive played limit in years, so was rusty, and it showed. Im opening my range wider with limit, right? Fit or fold on the flop? Anyway, down $1.68 over the session, so wasnt bad. Have a hand to post in the HA for help, but this one just made me lol, I immediatly labelled him 'fish' after this, and buddied him, he lost his stack eventually, not surprising really:

Just played a couple of 5NL tables. Less fishy but the regs keep cbeting 100% making everything easier to play and people keep shoving dumb hands on the flop. I noticed some players that I had tagged as passive now playing either nit or tag and not that passive at 5NL.

Overall good experience although it was weird to have a $5 stack to begin with. Got some adrenaline rushes but played quite alright and with profit of ~$5.

nice work RV.
Im playing a 50c mtt(can i say that here???) and not sure what to play alongside it. Guess I should play something similiar, 9max 2nl or maybe 5nl.

Wrapping up for today and not entirely happy.

Played a mix of 2NL and 5NL. 2NL was easy. 5NL wasn't. Didn't get many cards and the ones I got were served cool (meh note the joke) by slowplayed KK and AA.

No worries, just not happy with the 2nd session.

p.s.: when a joke is asked to be noted, it is indeed a bad joke!

are you playing a different game with 5nl to 2nl? I mean are you more conscious of your stack ie it's more of your bankroll?

I just want to say that I hate the term "polarize". That is all.

Post your hem stats in here, but post a decent sample, not the 1k hands I've played here or the 700 hands you've played on another site, like make a big alias in your hem, if you haven't already, that has all the hands from the many different sites you play on.

Id say he asked bc 13/4 , even over 40 odd hands, is bad.

Did i see a limit hand that you posted btw?? So what are you playing now, fr, 6max, limit, nl?

Id say 13/4 against a table of very loose gamblers is not perfect, but its better than being loose as them?
Im pretty much playing anything, as and when I see fit, different sites, different games.
Ive got 33k hands from one site if thats any good?

Cool, no were getting somewhere!

Post positional stats as well, also adding in cbet, fold to cbet, steal attempt, fold to steal, fold to 3bet.

Positional stats are the most helpful of all imo
