at my local liquor store, i checked out their "expensive" section and found some interesting stuff, including a bottle of 1800-something (i really dont believe it) rye that is all dusty and chipped on sale for like $1200. i'm really considering buying it for my dad's bday next month but i feel like he'd flip out that i spent that much on something that doesn't hold its value

Meh a bottle of poteen is more about who you know. Bad shit will blind you, i'd get a decent bottle from my father in law, or my brother within 6 weeks for €10+shipping. Seriously though even the best of it is 98% alcolollllllolll.

Trust me, I would never see you wrong on it, the batch would have to be extensivey tested first.

TBH its fine, we just have a few tests that we do on it, but if you dont want to go down that road then sound. But seriously its grand. Google it.

I rekon a 25 yr jamy would cost in the regon of €45 (€60) + shipping, I seriously rekon you can get it cheaper in the states, I usually buy it when im over there, we are taxed to the hilt over here. Ireland is one of the most expensive countries in the world atm, if you cannot find one shoot me a PM tomorrow and ill organise a bottle. If you want to go the poteen route then you will have to give me a few weeks, cause i will not send any old shit.

Anyone rekon that a 3% rake capped at €20 is beatable, even with some of the worst drunk players going. Game is €1/2 with a max buyin of €500.

I almost got sick when i heard it, but played a bit last night and the players bar one are omg drunk gamblers, most buying in for 100.

Is that question a joke?

very nice sir. agh, can't remember the last time i've been able to do that with TPTK. at 100nl rush by the time they call the 3rd barrel it means they have at least a set, or maybe they'll make a big hero call with top two pair
