60BIs to be on the safe side!!!

I have employed uber aggro BR management when I believed my edge to be astronomical (when I was playhing 2NL on ipoker for example lol), but this is something different.

So if you are impatient to shot take, why not grind it up to 230 and then take a 3BI shot. Go back to exclusively 5NL if it gets below 200. Rinse and repeat until you find yourself playing 10NL.

Decided I'm gonna take a shot at 10 just now. Maybe I'll see you there Jackle, I don't think I've ever played with you before despite sitting at the same limit for quite some time.

Bit of a tilty session. first time I have felt angry over poker in a long time. Dont worry though wasnt major tilt just was not playing my A game.
Lost about 3BIs quickly but instead of stopping (smart thing to do) I grinded it out. Played like a complete Donk but managed to only loose like half a BI or something by the end of it..
Hope to get my head back in the game by tomorrow to play A game.

Unlucky Jackle. I'm not sure what my roll is and I won't be checking until the end of the month. I just know I'm playing my best and running good. I have to admit though with it being a new limit (well I hadn't played there since I was really bad back when I first started and lost BR after BR) I was a bit timid to start. I tell you though the standard of play is worse than at 5NL. Maybe not worse, but there is more action. The thing about 5NL is that all the waiting lists are just full with nits looking to play fish, and the ratio is pretty bad. Honestly I'd advise trying out 10NL and seeing how it goes, less nits and more fishy-lag-types.

Yeah I know 5nl regs are so nitty, the only value you ever get is with just complete fish. All regs just suck and only give action with nutted hands...

..so bluff 3bet pre more IP and barrel more on boards that obv sucks for their range.

easy game really.

Hand 2 bet bigger OTF. Other than that WP, depending on just how fishy villain is I might just overshove river but whatever.

unlikely, given every 'reg' iv seen at 10nl is a regfish or nit fish.

10 plays completely differently from 5. I've played about 5K hands at each for the last 3-4 days and they are completely different. There are massive waiting lists at 5NL just filled with supernit bumhunting regs. You are never getting value unless you cooler there ass. On the plus side you can min raise every BTN and double barrel loads, my BTN WR was something near 88/100 before I went on a spewer.

Honestly I had a reg check back 55 after I fired two barrels on a QQ5AT board, yeah . . . He figured I had AQ or a missed flush . . . what a ****tard . . .

Yepp, regs at 5nl hate the gamble

Im talking about getting paid though, not just stealing pots of a few tight nits.
All we are saying is there is not much value in playing with NITS

there is value though, you don't win many big pots you just win loads of small ones.

if there's fish at better tables (and there always will be at 5nl) then go play, but if youre stuck with nits then you know how to proceed

Yeah Jackle, everyone's right, but it can def be tough to adjust so completely.

I've just started playing on Bovada, 5nl, and I can't even tell you how often people are showing up with like 4th pair where they call a cbet on the flop with bottom pair pair, call a double barrel on the turn with (now) 4th pair, and I shut down on the river cause I brick everything and I assume they must have top pair top kicker or MUCH better and will never fold. Imagine my surprise when they take it with a pair of 5s.

But yeah, it's all about making adjustments, some of which don't feel as natural as others.
