Most of the time they're fish and just running hot; it happens. If bad players never won hands, they wouldn't play poker and the whole ecosystem wouldn't work.

Having said that... when Negreanu did his "Build a bankroll from $10" challenge at Stars in 2009, he was playing 70/19 preflop, which usually is what a fish looks like. In his case, though, it was being so superior post-flop to the field at NL2 that he was +EV even playing hands that most of us would consider complete trash.

Have to agree its usually a fish on a hot streak knowing it wont last long and hes usually good for a big hit right after while thinking he cant lose!

need to pay attention to the game of the player, need to be able to enter a difficult situation also need to know when to bluff depends on many factors I think.

I have started playing again cash games. I have been seeing this players with huge stakes 3-6 time buy-in never folding winning with hands i wouldn't play and i am loose I hardly see anyone play them like 3 6 s and win. How is this possible. How can these players win every hand there is usually 3 players at the table that are doing this. How is this possible to never lose a hand fold very little and win. Doesn't make sense to me. If they played strong hands every time i could understand that but they play hands that wouldnt be so good and win. Am i missing something. Please advise me. I am on ACR.

You shouldn’t worry about because this just happens in short run, we call this ‘rush’. This doesn’t just happen online but also happens live. I was playing 1/2NL at my local casino and the guy to my right just entered the table and started to get premium pocket pairs in a row and he showed it to the entire table since he wasn’t getting any action.

Sometimes people could be taking advantage of their big stack. People at micro stakes tend to play much more loose when they are on rush. If I were you I wouldn’t worry too much about it let them play 36s and other trash hands, it won’t last long.

они действительно используют свои руки :)не так, как я после того, как я выиграл несколько, я не верю, что смогу выиграть пару раз подряд, поэтому я бросаю даже премиальные руки .... иногда это проявляется как правильный ход иногда не надо ....
Oh yeah ... More than 2 won hands make me nervous .. I might not stop afterwards

If all the cards were revealed, then most likely luck. You can both bluff and win several hands in a row)

this is the variance with skill and luck when i find myself in this situation so i play with a strong hand and preferably with only one opponent, unless you are with the best pairs!

You never get to see the whole picture...

For every winner, who is on a hot streak, do you ever get access to all their statistics, the big picture? How often do they lose? Most likely they probably win the median amount, the average. No matter who a player is, they have to overcome basic probability, regression to the mean, the average.

Agressive players tend to be more successfull. I bet that the players that are winning hand after hand are not just check calling. They are not only playing theyr cards so it seems you should adopt a strategy against them.

In poker, this happens when the player is lucky. I usually don't play with them at this point.

Sounds like me at the tables.....for a short time.....then BUST. Are these players doing this over long periods of time/hands?

 It all depends on the position, the strength of the hand, the villain, how we are playing, if we are playing in a concrete and solid way, if we are raising good hands, strong hands and premiun hands, if there are opportunities to make a bloff, of course It also depends on the villain we are facing, there are many characteristics, statistics and possibilities that we must study and learn and improve every day.

If you lose, don't bother, understand that you gave your best effort ...

I feel your pain bro, people hit miracle 2 outers while you miss your 15 out straight+flush draw, everytime you get a set villain gets their flush/straight on the river, etc etc...
I think in poker ignorance is bliss...because when you know you were the favorite or clearly winning, it hurts and sucks to lose...
But as a disciplined player, one must continue making +EV decisions and let the long run take care of the rest. Poker is not a sprint, so let's keep running!

Cash games with deep stacks are very different than short stack tournaments. Speculative hands like small pairs and suited connectors have a lot more value since they can make big hands and take down huge pots.

Hello

I think they may be using the following strategies

1 Open with strong and playable starting hands.
2 Always play in position
3 bluffing frequently by defending blinds
4 Play against weak players and fear opponents who fold freqentllywhen re raised.

May be these will help

I would say that the cash game makes a difference to the tournament. In my opinion, a lot more hands are played in the cash game and the players there can always buy more, some of the players have several bullets so they can play free and with a little luck you win several hands in a row

A player can win as many hands in a row as he wants, those players rarely make profits at the end... It's just a short period of frustration for other players that will not stand.

Winning all hands is impossible, but there are a lot of weak players who want to see the flop in all hands and with any game you should score and always enjoy and play on top of that player, plus the amount of chips you bet will tell you what kind of the player you are, the more it is impossible for you to win all hands.

it doesnt last long, those players bust sooner or later, keep pushing them, they eventually lose it all.

Just lucky, so they win in a row, one player came in a row, they dealt pocket AA three times and he immediately went to all-in and won everything.
