I would say yes why not, if you're beating 25 and your roll is big enough to handle the swings, just keep moving up. Although, I reckon you'll know if you're ready or not.

EDIT: was that your email first read out about multiple GTO strategies on TPP?

The ranges shouldn't change that much when adjusted for effective stack size and antes?

But effective stacks are usually much shallower in tournament play, there aren't really many comparable spots

First 3 levels should. If you are punting stacks in tournaments 100bb eff it's just as bad as in cash

villain is decent enough tag w 11% 3b, so he never has AK or AQ imo. is his range exactly A4 A2 and 44 here?

pokerstars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php

CO ($134.62)
Button ($180.42)
SB ($32.69)
BB ($47.78)
UTG ($157.40)
jchoop (MP) ($129.35)

Preflop: jchoop is MP with X, X
1 fold, jchoop raises to $1.50, CO calls $1.50, 2 folds, BB calls $1

Flop: ($5.35) 4

, A

(3 players)
BB checks, jchoop bets $2.81, CO raises to $8.25, 1 fold, jchoop calls $5.44

Turn: ($21.85) 2
spade.gif
(2 players)
jchoop checks, CO bets $19.50, jchoop raises to $50, CO raises to $124.77 (All-In), jchoop calls $69.50 (All-In)

dont think i needed to include any of the action after the dude pots the turn (since potting on stars is super non standard) because ive got this guy on a boat at this point

two things...
1. is that an accurate range for villain (never has diamonds IMO)

2. assuming i have A2, can someone do mathaments for me to show me my equity vs 44 A2 A4 plz? im obv ahead, just curious

--------------------------------------------------------------------

also wtf do we do here vs a 20x open from a 22/7 (50 hands sample) ? notes on this player inc...

"5x QQ on BTN, flat min 3b"
"7x AA in CO"

keep in mind this is 50NL deep lol

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://flopturnriver.com

SB ($124.51)
BB ($128.59)
UTG ($96.43)
MP ($124.17)
CO ($154.25)
JCgrind (Button) ($259.66)

Preflop: JCgrind is Button with 7
diamond.gif
, 7
spade.gif

UTG raises to $10, 5 folds

Total pot: $1.85 | Rake: $0

Results below:
UTG didn't show

legit never seen anything like that on stars before beyond 2NL... :/

oh and you're not ahead you're 50/50 3 combos of 44, 3 combos of A4, and 2 chop combos. Also if you really had that hand I have nfi why you're ch/raising turn.

i had A2hh, and c/r'ing turn bc im positive villain has a boat and isnt good enough to fold a boat. he has to be trying to stack my AQ-AK imo so yeah i think he always has a board when he is jizzing his pants so hard to get it in like he is here.

he had 44, which is obv what im putting him on considering i think its A4 or 44 and i opted to stack lol. i thought preflop action more indicative of 44 for TAGnit vil?

Are you rolled for 50 already?

nope i have about 300 on stars (400 now) and 500 on party, but i built a roll on party that im waiting to cash, so im just yolomode on one table haha.

thats a lie, im playing super cautious....

.....super cautious for me anyway.....

...... wait......

Could second hand be misclick of some sort? Maybe they meant to min raise but added an extra 0, although that would mean they were manually typing in for a Min bet

normally when i think this is the case, ill raise ATC, but this guy had lol sizing like yeah 7x AA and 5x QQ. im inclined to think it was some low pair like 55 that he didnt want to have to play post flop. too sick though

We hold the Ac, so he has fewer FD's. In fact the only ones that come immediately to mind are 98cc and 65cc. So he has more sets in his range? Or pure air? Idk wtf I'm talking about, but I probs just ship. Especially because of the lol-size of his raise.

Yeah but:

1. I still don't see why you're discounting diamonds.
2. If he's smart and realizes his line looks a lot like a boat, he should fold 44 as you're not raise/calling 22 here and even if you are he's behind your range.

The counter is obviously there are 2 cards that might cause him to not go broke if he does have 44, but that happens ~5% of the time right? What % is he bluffing/betting with a flush draw? What % is he folding 44 to a 3b? he only has to do either a super small % of the time to make flatting better than raising the turn.

Yeah shove for sure in that hand. He's got aces up a lot more often than pure air and his FDs are going to give up a lot when they miss anyway. Only call if you think he's super prone to bluffing rivers when he misses.

1.cos he potted turn. no 50deep nitball does that w draws.
2. hes smart, but for a 50nl reg. he isnt that smart. got it in A2 v 44

how do i get stacks in OTR, check shove? i largely got it in on turn incase Q or K fell OTR and unnerved him
