Bluffing is an investment win or lose.

Even if your successful in 50% of your bluffs overall it may be a break even in terms of cash earned. However it alters your image and you will be payed heavily on your made hands if you can play it like a bluff aka same mannerisms etc.. So in other words your bluffing to not only win a big pot on occasion your also doing it do win when you tighten up and play premium hands

In the right game a zero bluff strategy works fine for a profitable day whereas other games require some moves.

And that the semi bluff? If you have a prospect to catch nuts combination, possess a bunch of outs, but currently do not have. Here is a game of chance

Playing poker without bluffing becomes very uninteresting and predictable. Pops would not enjoy the game and would not come out at such a high level at the moment if not the main feature of poker it is possible to either tell the truth or bluff, and at the same time to decide for himself, to show their cards (open bluff) or stay in the shade.

Cash is all about pressure. Just make sure you are atleast drawing to something strong in the process.

I agree new players will call down regardless. The never look at improper call odds or anything that says they should not be in the hand.

Bluffing is one of the most common thing players do in tournaments or cash games , you might see alot of times when you get raised and you reraise with nothing in your hand and the other player folds directly that's a nice way to rebluff!

Usually the buff in the cash is something dangerous sometimes there are people do not want to say but who seems to make a trap that seems to know what is going to come out and play with very bad hands and come out very rare plays `so it is dangerous Play buff at cash poker

I think it depends on the table. I played in some tables where there is a lot of folding and I have bluff 1/2 my hands and played at some table with some players I know will make really good marginal calls and rarely bluff But I do feel bluffing is part of the game

You can't play poker without bluffing it's really important in poker that you bluff , it's part of the game although you should see the players in your table are they calling always or just playing safe that makes a huge difference in your game play

Throughout my years of practice in the poker profession, i have found that the most profitable players are the honest ones. I know that Hollywood and tv makes it seem sexy as hell when someone bluffs their way through a hand, but it doesn't show the hundreds of thousands of hands that the player folded to get a strong table image to make the bluff work. One of my old mentors told me bluffing works almost every time except for the time you get called...usually by the player who has the nuts. If you're going to bluff, your story has to make sense, from the pre-flop raise to shoving all in. It's also something that you have to practice. Bluffing isn't a very comfortable thing to do, if you ever have a chance to record yourself bluffing, and take the time to analyze how you played it, I would be willing to bet if someone was really paying attention to everything that was going on in the hand, it would be pretty obvious to tell that you were bluffing. It's easy to develop a poker face, but it's almost impossible to develop a poker body. The real atory is in the small details.

I hate saying good luck to poker players, but if you plan on bluffing being a major part of your game...good luck, you're realllyvgojng to need it

Is it possible to play cash profirably without bluff?

Against calling stations, sure. Absolutely not in high-level games, not only will you be unable to capitalize on lose fold equity when you're holding cards at the bottom of your range but you won't get much value from your stronger hands once your opponents realize you're never bluffing.

Have to agree with the most of you. It's just a part of poker. You have to bluff here and there when you get to know your opponents.

I agree with you, this is not an acceptable part of the game, without this you can not start playing poker because poker is a bluff

I don't like to bluff and I don't like bluffers, especially nowadays bluffers. They don't know when to pause. They are more fishers than bluffers. I use bluff sometimes when I sense that my opponent don't have anything.

I have bluffed, been bluffed, and some sessions have not bluffed at all. I understand in tournaments, with bubbles, and raising antes this is an absolute requirement at times to stay alive. Cash games, it's still useful, though to be utilized with less frequency.
