Poker gods were looking after me yesterday... I was at a 0.01/0.02c cap PLO table and it was clear that a few of us were just mucking around. We decided to go all in pre flop every hand after a while and I came out $13 on top! This was after about 30 hands with a cap of 0.80c...
Our table suddenly got a big waiting list as the average pot went up higher than some of the 0.5/0.10c tables but when people came they didnt really play any hands... funny that...

No worries dude your not being an ass, I have had coaching from stox coach for 5/6 sessions, and sweats with 2 diff 100/200nl players and they all said im doing ok and no major leaks. It's just shit like below, coolers etc.

Obviously being under all in EV is a psychological mindpoke (though I also think it is sort of a meaningless measurement that pisses us off more than anything else) but your All In-EV is actually negative too... which means you are getting it in behind too frequently right?
I understand sometimes you will have stretches where your villain is just at the top of his range more often than it seems possible, but could there be any more to it than that?

I don't think all-in EV is a horrible estimate. If you go all-in 10 times with KK vs AA and lose all 10 then your all-in EV will be higher than your actual. This would mean that you are "unlucky" because you "shouldn't" lose 10 times in a row vs AA. Obviously you're getting your money in bad, but you should have won at least once, maybe twice? I don't remember what KK vs AA is. 80/20?

One of the problems with looking at your EV graph is it doesn't take into account the times that you get half of your stack in on the flop and turn as a major favorite and then get rivered. The rest of your stack is obviously going in on the river anyway but you did get most of your money in there as a firm favorite...

Earlier in the month there was discussion about 3 betting and 4 betting light in the blinds. With this hand I had raised against this guy 3 out of the last five times from my small blind and was expecting him to start playing back at me soon. Is 77 a decent enough hand to 4 bet over this when we are expecting him to be 3 betting light? Or would we rather be doing it with something which is more likely to improve on the flop such as AQ or AJ?
