2nd session today Monday evening/night
Alright guys. well I decided to go deep as anything and well it paid off.
What started off slow went insanely hot, I should've kept going but distractions and life was calling me. But we had already pushed past our time anyway so that's a win.
But yeh decided to tighten up, thought smorning session I adjusted a bit too loosely from Button and CO... and then after doing so we started hitting crazy
The graph flattened out as well.
When you go through a harsh period just fight through it and keep as tidy as possible... eventually it turns around.

Alright so a change of pace from 24 tables. Been really up and down and neutral and what ive said the whole time is if we are running neutral we are just going to get tired eventually and drop.
So yep dropped to zoom tables at 5NL and did well
yesterday was upset since I ran 24 tables and went up $30 and lost and went downward on a nasty downfall. Anyways just changed it up and thought forget about it. And we can enjoy elsewhere and go back to 24 on the weekend.
Was nice to see A4... yesterday I kept seeing AA... nice change of speed.

Ive got that nasty habbit of overplaying AK post flop atm ... something i'll need to dull down a bit

I wouldn’t worry too much about AK, it’s very hard hand to play wrong. Also given the level, every time you play it wrong, there is a case where opponent is playing it wrong against you so wrongs are crossed away.

Nah 5NL was easy, it's NL10 that is too difficult. Remember that number of tables alters the difficulty level. And no I have not beaten NL10 yet, still break even game last 16k hands :fight:
Have to say going better than last 5 tries, so no complains!! And diving red line is not that steep anymore :five: I recon if I stay alive next 20k hand, I might do it.

So i notice i still havr to be watchful with ak and qq

There's nothing wrong with these hands Imo
During my time off I was going over some of John A's training material.
He goes through AK in 4bet pots and shows it is +EV to just shove most flops when you are out of position when someone just flats your 4bet.
Competent players should usually only be flatting 4bet at 100bb with 99-QQ and AQs AK. If you plug that range in on most ragged boards a lot of the range folds the flop to a shove. Your fold equity plus your chances of hitting an overcard make the shove profitable.
Here you were unlucky to run into QQ but you were never folding anyway. I have shoved in this spot on at least 6 occasions and the opponent has folded every time once flashing JJ on an under card board.

Not liking the call here bud. Poker is a game of information and you should be checking to the raiser to glean information. When you lead out blind into 2 players you have no clue as to what you are facing. You also need to be doing the basic rule of 4&2 math here as to whether you are making a profitable call. The BB is overpair heavy in this spot so you are probably going to have to spike the open ender to win against both of them. a 7 might be dirty and you don't want the board to pair either.
It's 1.67 to call and the pot is 3.96 so it's 2.4 to 1 nowhere near your needed 8x4 outs of 32%.

Turn raise on that board is pretty strong move and not much else you can do. He's tight as so is going to be snapping off a turn shove nearly always. I'd consider shoving the turn against some players but not against this guy.

WTF are you both doing in this hand!!?. A2 is a light 3bet steal, if he 4bets then I 5bet shove or fold normally the latter especially at these stakes but there is some latitude for a shove preflop as it's zoom madness and he's clearly marked as an aggro monkey.
Even so I'm never flatting a hand as weak as A2 in a 4bet pot without the initiative. Most players 4bet bluffing range is stronger than A2.
His turn sizing is really weak but it's still difficult to see anything worse calling your shove and you have virtually no fold equity in this spot you may as well have just called it down and let him bluff it all off. Unlucky for you he hit his hand.
