Something interesting and for those 1 or 2 who read this.

Ever sit down next to one on the table which tries to take up all the room? Like to show their dominance.

Lastnight i sat down and this guy was wide legged very loud open arms... i got moved to the table and i started taking up my rightful space.

This seems overlooked but often people do this to unconciously test your confidence and intimidate. Since my games very strong these days i dont allow such silly things happen.

I have to note while i took up my space and even while he was still in the hand i invaded his space to make my own comfort area.

Anyways he actually said ill let you in on the next hand.... well this was a great opportunity to wiggle in and widen my area and 1 or 2 hands his biggish chip stack ended up gone and he got eliminated from the tournament.

Perhaps a sneeky way to put a confident player on tilt and confuse them... esp if your lanky or not very confident looking.

That is irritating when someone takes up too much room. I will usually say something like "you dude can you square up? I need a little room here bro."

Most people are just like "oh ok no problem."

Oh well fustrating but managed to dig myself out of a hole early on with very short stack.... damn damn damn

Alright even though a top player warns the others of me that im good... i need to win

And ive identified a problem in my tournaments... when im deep im unbeatable because i know even with a low stack i can bounce back.

When stacks get 15bb-30bb i get awkward and rightfully so because all my xp is deepish... so it makes sense early i crush and when i have a big stack at final table i finish things. But things dont always go as planned.

Id even say id get close to gun shy and my 3bet light goes non existent

So i should start bluffing a bit more and playing more hands when things get awkward and really get my hands dirty.

Id rather be eliminated earlier a few more times if it means im making 2nd last tables half but with biggish stacks.

Im going to adjust a touch tonight and 3bet or jam and just really practice finding key spots to steal with marginal hands.

Lol within 10mins of this tourney i send 2 ppl on tilt with betting and 3rd with a hero call.

At the end b4 bluff i got jammed on river and didnt call argh

Everyones up in the air atm

I did get a certain look on flop from him which could stand out plus he slouched over table a bit.

General rule if someones posture is low its a bad hand

Im now out lol

1-2k blinds ive got 150k 5 limpers and sb shoves for 70k

I snap 55 vs kq and k hits

Last hand i had 99 i have 70k

Lag reg opens 8k and i call...

Flop td 3d 2d

She raises 15k and i just jam im good here a lot and i had a diamond incase.

My image tells her im bluffing n she calls AQo but q diamond and she hits on river lol

Also im playing her range and that confuses her hand reading 15k seems weak n able to fold as well... shes good hand reading hands but supposedly im hard to read.

Prolly shouldnt have flipped with 55 but i was fully aware i was going to test some diff spots in future tournies

Was only thinking its been a while since i had 99

Went on a cruise with family for r nights.

Got seasick with 4m swells haha but majority of the trip was fun.

Played an hr or so on poker but with only 5 ppl it was high variance and not much bother burnt 60

But blackjack won 110

Anyways had some good rest with my shoulder and its 5th week after injury. I think very soon ill be 100%

Thing ive learnt about taking holidays it takez away momentum. This week i havnt hit the gym once but ive adapted to the sleeping habbits now. So 2morrow will be a gym morning and just have to force myself and push and inject legic.

Lastnight i was too tired to play poker at pub because ive been a bit sick and figured its more important to skip poker and keep on track eith early nights early mornings for gym and then start playing soon.

Ppl always coming to me and say i look great and lost weight and women are looking as well and get attracted to the extra confidence.

Anyways need to feeel good and start working out 5-6 days a week.

Not sure about ham and sport watch you speak of.

But i watch athlean x videos if im querying about something.

Aka shoulder exercises during injury and other things.
Most of us who do a lot of sitting we have pelvic twist .. so my next gym goal once ive settled down with routine is to target fixing that.

Just pelvic twist is when your lower back arches more to compensate for your weak hamstrings and glutes. So if you have lower back pain this can be the cause :)

Anyways i got to the gym and shoulder held up its still tender but its strong :)

Feeling good now

Now time to start working on getting my next tournament win

After a break im playing a big game tonight.

50buyin with a 25 rebuy or addon

Also adjusted by not playing 10.30pm at friday night... if i play very deep i finish 2-3am

Anyways 6pm start tonight with 11-midnight feeels so much more refreshing. Also 1st place 1500 tonight.

Also my workout now is going 90-95 and im sore again and building muscle. Shoulders recovered now which took 5 weeks roughly so thats awesome and it took patience.

Anyways if i win tonight ill start adding in casino cash games 2night.

Had a few bubbles previously and a shallow run. So lets hope i can take out another win tonight. Getting hungry for a win now

Ended up 18th out of 90.

Did a learning mistake and i stewed over it alnight. Wasnt out after the hand but i got painfully knocked out with getting the best hands in and somehow getting caught out lol.

A6s utg+2 and blinds 40k 80k n i open 160k and a guy who is new but quiet for a bit shoves for 350k ... figured jj-kk i got an out and if he shoves kq im infront but hes not that good. I ran into AA its unlikely but it does turn up there.

Tbh i shouldve just folded and played this hand if im able to fold pre to a raise.

I need to pay more attention to my stack size and realise when im waiting for that magic double hand and when i should be light openening. Stacks get shallow for everyone very quick... oh well i need to keep practicing

17th out of 60

Was card dead but managed to steal 2 pots...

Doubled up with aa

Managed to fold 55 in a sticky spot... so thats progress.

Shoved allin with 10s and short and big stack called with A8 and Aq.

Good situation but ace still cameup

One of those hands which make me want to vomit

Previous hand took out fish i had kq and he had qj and he stacks me on a q9332 board which felt great .. reminds me of my cash hands

Blinds 1k 2k effective stacks 145k
Utg +1 65s

I bet 12k going to make a play... ive been seen as tight kxs type hands

He calls and has me covered.

Flop goes 549 rainbow

I bet 30k

Turn comes 6 and now i bet 60k and going to bet all rivers bc this guy is known to be a thinking player and he wins his fair share of tournies.

3 on the river and i bs bet and he shoves and i get the gut feeling he has a 7 but if he has a 7 he can have a 9 or any bad junk in a plead to make me fold. I call hating life

He shows 75off lol

I figure he put me on AK and i missed.

Trap was setup but the gods had other ideas

5th won $100... upset to go this deep and not win but got in the money after a dry spell.

Only hand ill get upset at is a4s utg not shoving... wouldve trippled up . Good bluff spot n cards.

Hand of the night.

22 (me)vs At
I call his shove since i was big stack.

Flop 2 10 10
I lose... turn and river j j... sick huh

Anyways last hand got me i shoved kqs in small and he calls blinds 150k 300k and we both had 1mil... its stupid the stack sizes

Kqs vs a6o and he holds by hitting ace... that guy goes on to win but hes a total idiot player n thinks nothing... annoys me that the structure allows idiots to win but thats what keeps em coming back

I did get one fish off his guard earlier in the night he was calling wide n hitting.... i shoved overbetting ak n he called QJ and he was upset... but some of these moments u got to take adv.

I was short stack early n the 75off guy from last week failed to knock me out... he was annoyed at himself cuz he knows ill win

he had jj vs AK board AJT 2A i paid him off but not stacks thankfully

Just make sure that if you buy one, remember the check it supports weight training analysis too bc I don't think all of them support it.

Yeah, well own body is the best measurement tool (usually).

Last week i won $100 came 5th

Tonight 2nd last table. Not annoyed i made a mistake but a learning one.

Got some Kx bluffs through and got called A4s and won vs kj

Against a loose guy blinds were 20 40k and he bets 100k and i shove 200k it suckz cuz blinds just went up from 10 20

Anyways i had kts and he had ato ... a good rule would b shove when they limp and fold kx if they bet.
And shove if u got any pockets bc u often have the best hand against fish who play cautious AxLike i said its a fine line and balancing act... it sounds messy but it makes sense to me

Some tight discipline folds and some loose shoves are required :)

Earlier k9o if i shoved n got called 3 way i wouldve hit king and won having 600k stack. Its a lil results orientated but it also makes sense that rule esp in the shove fold game where blinds kill us

Very quiet start to tourney won one hand in 1st hour. And bout that in 2nd.

Won a few hands and came 5th $110.. patience early on got me through.

Still angry i didnt win but happy im consistently starting to hit money more.

Last hand A2 shoving allin 1.2 mil on button and ofc bb wakes up with queens.

He was one of those annoying limp in with premiums etc.. not this time but he snuck in kk earlier on final table

A lot of your recent posts you are leaving out stack sizes (you mention them in some posts) In tournament poker, stack sizes are everything. Without knowing stack sizes in big blinds, all other information is meaningless. The fact that you leave out stack sizes gives me the impression that you dont know yet quite how important that is. If you plan on playing tournaments profitably, you need to understand shortstack play as well as push/fold strategy. In a live setting you can probably wait until as low as 12bb to play push/fold but online, usually start pushfold around 20bb. When i was playing tournaments regularly i used mixed strategy at 15-20bb depending on the player type in the big blind. Players who dont practice push/fold strategy off the table usually dont open shove often enough and this causes them to bleed chips when the chips are most valuable

EDIT: reading back through, i noticed that you posted stack sizes in more hands than not, but there are some posts where you mention a few hands without mentioning the stack sizes
