I know the HH is a bit shitty but I think you might have read it wrong. He shoved flop and I called (he was 1c short of all in). I was wondering if I have equity to call with top pair and possible back door straight draws.

Preflop is fine, flop is fine. Once we can 100% put him on AAxx which is almost alway the case at macros when they 3 bet you are getting enough to shove here

It looks like he bet and you raised and he shoved? But w/e, yeah we essentially have an 11-out draw with tons of backdoors as you said.

Yeah sorry I took the HH from Universal Replayer which formats it funny. Essentially he had 1c behind so I just raised to get us both all in. Thanks for the replys glad my thinking was right.

I know this is standard, probably like 66 beating AA in NLHE, but I thought it was funny he dodged about 20 outs :D

I feel like I hit my big draws more in PLO than Hold'em, probably some sort of sustained variance or selective memory but might be why I like PLO so much.

Because your draws have more outs.

Lol no, I knew someone would mention that but in Hold'em I always feel like my 15-outers are going to brick and in PLO I hit 6-7 outers in huge pots all the time (like NFD in multiway vs. sets and lower flush draws).

Selective memory and how often are we really getting 15 outers in holdem

Often enough that you really get annoyed when you miss them!

For sure I am running hot lifetime in PLO though.

I feel this too. Fist-pump when I get called in a 200BB pot and I have a double backdoor FD just because I know i'm gonna hit.

I like flatting here to keep smaller PP's in. Maybe set over set. Can play AA for SD value too or maybe bluff some dry flops. Thoughts?

Its going to be a lot worse just calling here and playing a 3 way pot OOP without being the aggressor.

Ok so you think I played it ok? Villian is super weak-tight Fitorfold kind of player.

Yea that is fine, most times you are taking down boards with a c bet so flop is obviously very standard. When a fit or fold player shoves like that, unless we have nut type hands, nothing we can do but you played it fine.

In same position as you Margo at Silver Star and about to start the grind for the year but obvs at lower level. Are you still going to play at PS even after the changes tho? What are your reasons for/against. Very confused right now.

I'm going for Supernova btw.

2 tabling 10 PLO on stars. Just picking spots really really well. Tried 4 tables but it was a bit of a push. Horrendous considering I was playing 16 tables of 50/50's in December.
