It may sound weird but before a tournament I love playing Tetris. In the version: Tetris Tengen.nes. Maybe someone understands me.
I feel like my head is preparing for the adrenaline of the tournament.
I have also read that tetris is a game that benefits the mind.
So I have another excuse to not leave one of my favorite childhood games.

Nothing like that, I just do my own thing, I do not live poker, I never wait for the start of the tournament, in life there are many things much more interesting than a poker tournament, so I just sit down and play, and if you do not have time to get into the tournament, it's okay, there will be many more tournaments

Well, today I made a sandwich and then took a nap, setting the alarm to go off 15 minutes before the tournament started. Don't like to feel tired while I'm playing. Depending on the site, I'll sometimes play a sit-n-go. Some sites just take too long to player-up to make that feasible.
