good luck philthy! I was wondering while I was reading your post if you were still gonna 16-table these lol, 4-6 tables sounds great.
LOL-I tried 16 tabling the ST HU before...all I heard were constant alert beeps non-stop.

lol honestly you could probably just shove every single hand and it'd work out at 16-tables. Hell that might even be a good strategy for 4-6 tables.

1) Don't be stupid and donk shove into dry boards trying to push off micro-stakes players.
2) Continue good BR management and stick with the $2.25 27-player SnG's around 00:00 GMT. Really soft tables.

Example of #1. Why the hell do I do stupid things like this?

full tilt poker Game #23603565266: $2 + $0.25 Sit & Go (182526871), Table 2 - 250/500 - No Limit Hold'em - 01:25:17 ET - 2010/09/04

lol why did he flat the river? n00bs :p

either way, sounds like you know you need to stop the FPS and focus on value betting, basic blind-stealing, etc., which are the most profitable strategies for micro's.

Arggggggg

Have lost 3 times 80/20 this morning.

QQvs99
KKvsTT
TTvs77

It sucks to read they have a weaker hand and still not work.

Cashed in 2 so far but should be 5 by now.

On a good day maybe like 20-25, but 10-15 sounds more like average for me. ps I'm not a volume freak by any means.

6-8, I hope to be at 10 by the end of the month (although PLO is robbing most of my SNG time atm).

Turbos but not superturbos. I don't think I could go back to regular speed at this point.

You too, eh?

TT vs 77 in the freeroll (7 on flop)
TT vs JJ in a 3.30 KO (both T and J on flop) <- Ok, so it wasn't an 80/20 preflop
55 vs 68 current MTT ... (5 on flop vs toyota straight)

Yea and keeps going AK vs KQ, QQ-A3, and in the freebie A9 vs QT, he raise 3bb with 19bb, i shove 16bb and still call, bummer.

I think will take a break and comeback in the night.

You guys do realize that by nature there are more showdowns in SNG's and therefore your hands won't hold as often? I mean, it still sucks, but just sayin'.

There are more showdowns in micro-stakes SnG's for sure. Most of these that we are whining about were actually pre/post flop where we get our money in good, yet get gobsmacked by the 20%-ers. Yeah, its just variance that just happens to put us on the wrong side of the fishing pole (like TT vs 77). I'm sure we have our fair share of good hits, but we don't complain about those.

Problem is that it seems to come in waves. I ran really good all week until today. My issue is that I play maybe 3-5 SnG's a day due to time constraints. Variance tends to run my day more often than not as I don't have a large enough sample size to judge against.

It's not just in micros though, it happens at all stakes. People who are considered to be crushing the $60's or the $119's have ROI's of like 2% or 3%, just because of all the variance due to the constant showdowns.

But yeah, it's really discouraging to have bad sessions, I totally agree. It's what makes SNG's so tough, whether you play just a little or you play tons of volume.

I know you guys are mostly tilt fiends. But anyone who is on stars, have you tried the new features? They have introduced something that table ninja used to do, it's to do with new tourneys stealing focus. They introduced their own, but it sucks! it's costing me a lot of time, and it's really annoying me, about to email them now. Just wondering if anyone who stacks is having the same problem.

have you tried the hayguys xbox controller thing. i thought you were using it but not sure. it's supposed to take care of all of those focus stealing issues like the one when you get KO'ed from a game. i just watched a video on CR where sippin_cris uses it it seems solid. and him using it makes me think its worth it if you grind stars.

This...

In week days play less, yesterday have the chance to play 12 games, should cash in half of them but ended cashing in only 3, and hurts when go in with the best, but is just the game, is a new day hope things work well.

Hmmm nope, never heard of it actually. I'll probably be switching to tilt soon anyway, but i will definately look into it, i've heard a lot of guys use those game controllers to play. I've worked out a way to do it pretty well using table ninja now, i just use a function which can cylcle me through to the first table in line, worked well last night.

i know you can setup something similiar on tilt, so im definately getting it setup :D
