You shouldn't be 3betting hands like AKs with a 45bb stack to fold to 4bets shove at this stage in the tournament.

Obviously you're 3betting for value here I just don't understand the fold.

First; your raise could look weaker given you could be squeezing lighter so MP2 very well might shove AT/AJ/AQ/AK and pairs here. Worse case scenario in spots like this is you're flipping imo. Secondly; his 3x raise sizing pre is bad so I'm inclined to think he's bad player overall and will over value worse Ax hands here and probably shove any pair. We're getting like 1.5/1 odds so we need 40% equity, agaisnt his whole range and strongest range of hands even if we given him like TT+AK+ we have 42% equity but that's unlikely the range of his hands here. I'd say a realistic range for him here is like 10% of hands, which we're a favorite against on even money and that doesn't included any broadway hands other than Ax.. Of course sometimes they show up with JJ+ but against his whole range of hands and the dead money in the pot is just to much; this is a snap call.

I swear to you Ram, prior to raising I had a plan:eek: , but he/she snapped shoved so quickly (I honestly kid you not), it was one of those insta-shoves, that too me just said ok lets go, so I mean I did add all those ranges that you gave, but was just down right petrified to put all on the line with AKs (Yeah it's a horrible out look with AKs)..I mean if the player wasn't playing so tight/passive I really would've got it in vs them but a 10/2 I mean it makes things different in my eyes (Atleast to me), but thanks for clarifying the reasons as to why my fold was horrible

Even vs a tight range I think we have to take into account all the info. I mean it's just your squeeze can make him ship wider, your image at the table (I know from personal experience you play quite a loose aggressive style so he might well be thinking on that level? (unlikely maybe) and his 3x raise too kinda makes me think might ship slightly wider (It's rare better players 3x raise at this stage in the tournament)) and purely based on odds even if we say he has his absolute top of his range JJ+AKsAKo we're getting the right price to make it profitable. There is also of course a decent chance he has AK too which we chop against.

it will be my first Micromillions series in which I will seriously attend... Cause finally I have some bankroll on stars when I started to play a little bit SNGs there (thanks to CC btw :D) I will try some 2.20 and 3.30 NL holdem tourneys.

tbh; I just shove pre over the limp. It looks way weaker than raising. Your range with 11bb looks exactly like the hand you have. Also by shoving over ou're likely going to get called wider. Good flop though and I love the cbet size.

Will jump on your rail.

I don't know this fold is bugging me, what do you all think? Maybe I should just start flatting it rather than 3betting tight players with this hand

yeah this isn't a great spot tbh. a 3x open and a call and you have A Ks, you don't HAVE to 3 bet get it in. you see pro's like Hellmuth play big hands very strangely. so i think you could just flat here if you think the player is going to shove. particularly if he/ she is a weak player who might still not fold QQ post flop if the flop comes Axx.
no matter how rapid they shove you can never really 3 bet fold imo. just flat or 3 bet call off.

nice, you should get extra for promoting cardschat further ;)
gl though, it's good imo for you to avoid 3x turbo type things, but it seems you are anyway so you seem to know what you are doing :)

Tournaments large minimum recorded 20,000 or much more in every tournament, I would say they are a very difficult tournament because most play bingo, finally luck at the tables

yeah you defoo need to run good but there's a lot more skill involved than you think. the players donking off all their chips, you should just wait for a good hand and stack off. sounds simple but that's really all you can do. then if you lose X the tourny and play the next one :D

Just finished my first micromillion, it was a 3.30$, well i manage to survive the bingo part of it. What a donk fest at first all ins with Q 8 o or k7o wow it was my first micro million, didnt think they played like that in these tournys but i managed to make the money, i finished 1301 out of 10 500 or so. I am happy with the result. I will try my luck at a few more of them so good luck to every one who plays them

:( out in 1083, UTG I jammed A3 off with about 12bb and got called by 55 and didn't hit. Was even lots of hope to counterfit him as the flop was 69T turn was T so 9, 6, or A and i was good but unfortunately not. Was an excellent tourny though, 13.37 was my prize (3.75 hr later LOL).

edit: almost 16k runners, crazy the #'s they get but huge prize pools.
