Can't believe what an awful start I've had to summer. No top 3 finishes in over 150 tournaments. Now sitting $1,000 down. Starting tomorrow, just going to grind 180s on Stars and play my FTP schedule since I've had more success at FTP with the smaller fields.

I've never really grinded them before, no. My backer doesn't want me playing anything less than 180s. 45mans pretty much don't run on FTP any more.

Yah I know that about the 45's on FTP (hence 'miss'). Lots of tourney regs. used to play in them.

I've never liked the 45's on Stars (turbo) & haven't played hardly any of the 180's.

Took a couple days off because my girlfriend was in town She cheered me up no end. Had a small session today after she left and hit the FT of the Early Double but busted 5th for $77 and came just outside the top 50 in the Big 22 for just over $100. Was a +$$$ day plus I was playing 5nl when the milestone hand hit so I won about $50 there too. Here's hoping it continues

So pokerstars Golden S&G Promo starts today so I'm gonna just grind the 180 mans. Hoping a couple of the $11s run today too.

Not really sure what to do atm. Keep playing good, going on a good run then bust in spectacular fashion. Got down to the last 300 of the Big 5.50 today and lose AK to AQ for a top 10 chip spot, it's just so tilting. Earlier today in the MTOPS, last 100 or so, get 88 in on 8QT v AQ and it comes K J. I'm down like 2k in 3 weeks and haven't hit a final table for the last 10 days or so. Confidence is gone, feel like I must be doing something spectacularly wrong to be this much down.

Pretty sick to go on such a horrible run Jonny but all you can do is keep plugging away. Maybe switch it up for the week and play some SNGs on Stars while the Golden SNG promo is on? I'm on a similar run at the moment mate and can't seem to turn it around. bankroll is in the shitter too so I can only play ~$5s and under. Good luck turning it around.

Yeah I've been playing some 6m S&Gs today and done good but I'm not gonna win 2k playing 1 table $3.50 S&Gs lol. GF is coming up tomorrow so I'll have a couple days off til the weekend anyway. Gonna get some reviews in tomorrow, would be good to get a group together who wanna do tourney HH reviews. Hopefully it turns around soon.
