Yeah it's possible, but not easy. You should be patient and when you earn around 20$-30$ you can start playing micro cash and boost up your bankroll faster.

I built up to around $80 on betonline a couple years ago. I ended up having a bad run of poker and lost that amount. You don't really have much margin for error/luck when building via freerolls only. Say for example you cash in a few of the $10 ACR freerolls or $100 CC freerolls and have say $5-6. You only have a few bullets you can fire at real money games to build further without wittling down to nothing and having to cash a freeroll again. It's definitely doable, but it's an intense grind and you really need to get lucky in your first couple cash games or real money tournament buyins after cashing a freeroll to be able to build to an amount that allows a margin for error/luck.

yes from the winnings that I managed to get on the frerrolls. I played in the cash game and win 50 dollars in 1 month.meme if I lost everything this week. I still have a good Now, playing big buy-in games would not have been possible without the help of CardsChat's frerrolls. If you play good poker, you can easily win between $ 5 and $ 10 per month thanks to the frerrolls.

I have used the Carbon $100 Daily Freeroll as a bankroll builder time and time again after cashing out most of my bankroll. With the ease of bitcoin cash outs, I've found myself frequently with less than $20 in my account. With nine $14 wins last year, not counting the times I finished in the top 20, the daily freeroll was a blessing. Of course I supplemented my play with the $1.50 double or nothing sng. What always helped was less than 100 folks in the freeroll.

It's very very difficult but possible for sure. The problem is that when variance hits you it can weaken your already small bankroll so that's the importance of depositing a good amount.

I always try to take advantage of all the freerolls in which I have access, they always help me build my bank and especially if I am interested in playing some specific tournaments, of course, it is not easy as it seems, but it is something that can be done , little by little you can achieve

Yes you can. Granted a lot harder now since the days of $1k gtd freerolls countless times a day are gone. But it is possible but will take longer and more discipline.

Yes I have over $100 from freerolls, cardschat are the best! It's a challenge trying to build it. I've been playing the micros with freeroll money but it can go pretty fast if you don't get a nice hit for a while.

I have been playing online poker since 2006. I never deposited at any site. I have about $100 at poker stars and $30 at 888poker. So it is definitely possible to build up a bankroll with freerolls. You just have to treat your freeroll winnings with the same care as you would treat a deposit.

I have no doubt that if it is possible to build a bankroll playing freeroll ... but I think most of us do what you do ... I mean to play those freeroll wins in a tournament or cash tables ... the ideal would be to continue building our bankroll playing freerolls and when we have a solid and deep bankroll then start playing in tournaments or cash tables ...! we must learn to be disciplined in order to achieve that ...!

Easy. A freeroll is a starting point for your bankroll. Freerolls cardchat payments start at 60c, this is enough for the tournament and 55c turirah sit and go over 10c. Tournaments at 55c on the same level as the freerolls cardchat, or even easier. There's quite easy to build a bankroll for the more expensive tournaments. The main thing is not irat spin and go. Everything is very easy to lose.

There are quite a lot of success stories out there and they are so cool to read. I've started my own free freeroll challenge today and it's quite tough. (First day and I'm struggling lol) I do think it's possible but you really have to commit yourself to it.

Yesterday I won my first free roll which was incredibly delight inducing as I have been broke for a couple of weeks so to have some cash in the float is nice and I will look to build it up now before withdrawing and putting some in different poker accounts to give me more chance of success in my quest to becoming a billionaire :)

of course it is.
I made last payment to any poker site over 5 years ago :)
Every few months I made withdrawal, and leave some money to play with.
:)

Have You ever actually build a bankroll off FreeRolls?is it possible

Yes, very possible to make an adaquate starting bankroll off playing freerolls. I have made several hundred dollar worth of freeroll cashes in the past 6 months. I try to play the games with higher payouts and low number of players.

I have made $30 playing freerolls this weekend alone, with only playing a handful of games.

- SBpoker Cardschat Freeroll - $16
- 888poker IceCold Freeroll - $8
- pokerstars School Community Freeroll - $5

I've taken down a few prizes in the $2 dollar range a few times. I don't have the discipline to wait to combine a few cashes and have anything close to variance-proof bankroll and end up punting it pretty quickly. I think if I could score around $20 or so I'd have a chance to fade a runbad session or two.

I'm still only a month old, so I'll give it time and keep you posted.

Good Advice

It's definitely possible. I think the biggest key to it is discipline. Many players(myself included) will take any freeroll winnings and immediately risk them in whatever they can buy-in with what they've won. I think the key is to keep building and only play freerolls, avoid the temptation until you've got yourself a decent roll. Then you can start mixing some buy-ins in with your freerolls and take off from there.

After having lost some money trying to make it on my own, I am definitely convinced that some times you just have to grind out through freerolls. I now realize that the experience of playing is more important. Any time you want to get good at something you have to be willing to put in the grunt work, and freerolls let you do that.

Of course, I've done it several times if the past. You need to make a plan and stick to good bankroll management. Make sure you study poker and try to improve your game.

It is difficult for me to build my first bankroll from freerolls because the little I earn in freerolls is spent in very cheap tournaments which most are hyper-turbo and are very based on luck.
I need to have the constancy of saving what little I get from freerolls in order to build a considerable bankroll and then start playing tournaments with different types of buy-in.

Hi all , I'll echo what above posters say about , yes you can easily build a BR from freerolls , however , what I have done was get to a small BR of say $15 , then play in small $1 MTT , some NL & PLO wins and cashes have easily boosted my BR in a very short time , compared to playing only freerolls , I still play freerolls to improve my game with added bonus of free $ , I hardly play any cash games at the moment , partly due to fear of losing too much and also becoming a MTT specialist , I feel that at times cash games may weaken our range/poker in general (weakening our MTT poker) , that being said I'll play mainly PLO cash games maybe 2-3hrs a month in 1hr sessions if there are no MTT games available , but yes hardly any cash games vs the say 150-200 hrs a month of MTT , ( I hope to increase MTT hrs ,but hard to balance life & poker) time and quality of the time spent becomes cruicial ... hope it helps :)
see you at the tables
