Would not call Spin n Gos crazy, but they are clearly more targeted at recreational poker players than those, who are very serious about the game. There is the excitement of the lottery type spin, and then its all over in less than 10 minutes, so you dont need to commit a large about of time. I personally dont like Spins all that much. I once gave them a shot at pokerstars and played 8 1$ Spins in a row, and I really felt like, I was pulling the handle on a slot machine. Its a very fast way to generate rake, which is probably why, poker sites like them so much ;)

Spin&Go´s last just some minutes but I´m not sure that they should be labelled as crazy game..I play them every now and then.It would be great that the game starts with 1500 chips and blind levels every 5 minutes.

My opinion is that Spin N Go is a mathematically unprofitable long-distance game. Many are attracted by the opportunity to get fast money, but this is already like a casino.

Strongly agree with you. I have played many time but didn't get any profit. It was like coin flip no meter what hand you have :).

Exactly my thoughts!
I would add the obvious, that in Spin n Gos the results are much more influenced by pure luck/variance than in other forms of poker, be it cash games or tournaments. A serious poker player relies on his own skill much more and tries to earn based on that.

No, but it runs out of chips and blinds go up fast, so it's hard to play good poker.

funny, but I do not like playing them, I feel like I was throwing my money, and the times I've played the prize is always the minimum and think much percentage of luck involved in this type of game:dancing2:

i played at least 100's of them on micro levels and i am not a big fan of since it feels like a lottery and they are king of tilting to me.;)

if they would invent spin and goes with more frequent multipliers and a very low rake, it would be a fair and interesting game. as of now i think in the long run, the only real winner here are the pokersites itself who do offer these formats. surely there are some winning players in those games but i won't imagine the amout of rake they payed.

it's crazy indeed. used to play these and liked quite a lot when I was winning. After started losing, because of those all ins, best hole cards, doesn't mean you are the winner :D I moved on to tournaments now.

The best series of advice that can be given to a poker player who wants to become a professional is a dusty "Leatherass" Schmidt written in 2012 and entitled "considers poker as a business".
I really believe in play only when you are in your best level and centered, if this is not the case, the only thing you are doing is throwing money away.!!The spins are really hard for the mind and you need to be concentrated since practically you play all hands. You need to keep in mind that if you play session of 3-4 hours, it is normal that you begin to make mistakes and these cost you money.!!Everyone believes that it is better than they really are (including me). To this day, the poker games are much more complicated, with all the coaching, the webs with strategy and all the information, so that the entire level from all over the world is higher.!!

me too is the format I like to play the most. the variance is really hard to beat because we can all lose each hand we play. In addition it is necessary to focus 100% on each hand to not commit error. but when the variance is on your side. we can mount a banckroll very quickly.

This is a crazy tournament on pokerstars. Playing spin ang go you have to reset several times his hand in order not to lose too much of the stack. Because even strong cards, you will certainly lose. Why is this happening can not understand. Playing heads up quickly realize that you win then your opponent several times. This happens all the time.

My opinion is that Spin N Go is a mathematically unprofitable long-distance game. Many are attracted by the opportunity to get fast money, but this is already like a casino.

so it's your opinion or it's mathematically unprofitable?

tell me how is it that many pros make a living from playing spins? I will answer you. Because there are many recreational players. So if there are many recreational players it means you can win in spins because you have an edge over them like understanding pushing ranges, ranges on different positions based on numbers of big blinds, not mentioning postflop skills.

So people kill your math and make money. Spins are profitable games. But to win on them you need to make a huge volume. That's a point. I would say volume is the most important factor in spins. Of course in every game volume is important, but because spins are short tournaments, with 25bbs at start and fast blinds to make it profitable in long run and prove your advantage over the players you need to play a lot. That's a key. So ye. Maybe spins are crazy because there are many recs players but that's why smart players with good work ethic can win money in spins.

I think, that Spin&Go is a mix of poker and slot machines, a very dispersive game, where a lot depends on luck. In this game, to make a profit in the long run, the need to properly build your bankroll. So, Spin&Go is a poker roulette game for thrill-seekers.

Maybe they are a little crazy, but there are even a little crazy tournaments like hyper-turbo tournaments, I think it's a matter of knowing what you do and having a clear strategy, I must also highlight that those spin and go are not for all players

Back could be hit if not for the cartels that kill this type of game! It is impossible to win a large group of players!

I prefer to play mtt, but sometimes I play spin go. Few starting chips encourage playing completely differently from tournament (very all in) but I like the thrill.

I've played this game a lot... Sometimes your poker skills can take you far, other times it's like the winner had already been chosen before the game even starts.... And when we add these to the fact that the prizes are not really random it's crazy in the long run. :dancing2:

I played 'spin and go' a few times and didn't like it at all. I don't know if I can call it a crazy game but I sure felt crazy after I played.
