Would not call Spin n Gos crazy, but they are clearly more targeted at recreational poker players than those, who are very serious about the game. There is the excitement of the lottery type spin, and then its all over in less than 10 minutes, so you dont need to commit a large about of time. I personally dont like Spins all that much. I once gave them a shot at pokerstars and played 8 1$ Spins in a row, and I really felt like, I was pulling the handle on a slot machine. Its a very fast way to generate rake, which is probably why, poker sites like them so much

Spin&Go´s last just some minutes but I´m not sure that they should be labelled as crazy game..I play them every now and then.It would be great that the game starts with 1500 chips and blind levels every 5 minutes.

Strongly agree with you. I have played many time but didn't get any profit. It was like coin flip no meter what hand you have .

Exactly my thoughts!
I would add the obvious, that in Spin n Gos the results are much more influenced by pure luck/variance than in other forms of poker, be it cash games or tournaments. A serious poker player relies on his own skill much more and tries to earn based on that.

i played at least 100's of them on micro levels and i am not a big fan of since it feels like a lottery and they are king of tilting to me.

if they would invent spin and goes with more frequent multipliers and a very low rake, it would be a fair and interesting game. as of now i think in the long run, the only real winner here are the pokersites itself who do offer these formats. surely there are some winning players in those games but i won't imagine the amout of rake they payed.

it's crazy indeed. used to play these and liked quite a lot when I was winning. After started losing, because of those all ins, best hole cards, doesn't mean you are the winner I moved on to tournaments now.

So if there are many recreational players it means you can win in spins because you have an edge over them like understanding pushing ranges, ranges on different positions based on numbers of big blinds, not mentioning postflop skills.

So people kill your math and make money. Spins are profitable games. But to win on them you need to make a huge volume. That's a point. I would say volume is the most important factor in spins. Of course in every game volume is important, but because spins are short tournaments, with 25bbs at start and fast blinds to make it profitable in long run and prove your advantage over the players you need to play a lot. That's a key. So ye. Maybe spins are crazy because there are many recs players but that's why smart players with good work ethic can win money in spins.
