Bubble Boy is my second name.
I'm going all-in during bubble time in 3 cases:
1) having short stack - to increase the stack by stealing blinds or by chasing my luck
2) having mid size stack - to grow bigger and scare shorties or bigger stacks
3) having big stack - to kick or scare other players.

SO i'm getting very loose during bubble time, that's my problem.

I do the same but I don't say it's a problem. Because I play only for the win so sometimes you have to bubble for the win next time.

shoving 2 bb, all the limpers behind will just call and possibly check it down to knock you out..

however in this situation, i would shove as well

All in close to bubble only if small stack in good situation on the table, or with AA, Kk, AK. Other good hands can be played if you have more chips than others.. GL!

It is a problem, it's a sign of greed and tilt.

Because I play only for the win so sometimes you have to bubble for the win next time.

That poker tourney where we win the 1st place is called "in the money" and that 1st place prize is delayed in a period of time, it ends at the final table and it starts right after the bubble ends.

JJ against a bunch of limpers is of little value.
However 2 bigs left, you have little choice, shove it.

In the vast mayority of the cases, yes. In the tournaments that I play (micro) bubble is an excellent situation to enlarge the stack. On the other hand if I'm playing a tournament out of my bankroll limits (for example, SM14) and enter or not ITM means a very important step for my bankroll, then I'll take more precautions.
Of course if the all in is justified, taking into account position, stack, prior information of the opponents, etc.
A good stack jump on the bubble can be decisive to reach final phases and final table.

Of course, option A. I believe, that in this situation it is necessary to do push.

If I have chance to stay in game without risking any of my stack, I'd rader keep on low profile to get into the paying positions.

This is I think an easy decision: all in. If you are out, you are out and you need to accept this. By not going all in you can maybe just finish in the money. The benefit though is only very small and in the long run you will never make any profit by playing like this. So better just go for it. You will find yourself in situations where you will be knocked out just before the money and yep that sucks, but you will also find yourself finishing deeper in the money by being brave before the bubble.

in everygame of holdem there comes a time when you have no choice but to go all in.

its a difficult situation being so close to being in the money stages of the tournament especially if you are the short stack.

so being in the mid position every player has limped
you have 2bb left and you have JJ

do you A = push
B just call

ps i find that jacks are far worse than pocket 10s but what do you think???

I always play to win, and so I go all in when the situation requires it , and I don 't worry if it is bubble. Because of this, many times I did not get prizes:(

If i have a hand that deserves a all in on my way ima doing it. Most times all we lose is a bit of our time and we play cause we like to not to get rich

All we do in poker is just to buy a good portion of adrenaline for relatively little money.

It depends on how close to the bubble. Limpers on the hand and only 2bb, I don't push, instead, I fold.

I think I have to push if my stack is enough to make others fold. If my stack is 8bb and my opp has 11-15bb, probably he will fold. If call, sure I will lose the hand. So is a method to pressure others, even with short stack.

Push to face 2, 3 or 4 on the hand isn't good for me.

Cheers,

we must always try so that your stack is at least slightly larger than average so as to prevent such bubbles

Poker

How can you try where everything is determined only by luck !? I am always surprised by the players who advise to approach the game rationally. Poker is attractive because it is irreational a priori.

I don't think I play any differently close to the bubble. If anything I might tighten up because a lot of players will just start going all in with all sorts of hands. That said though, it I have a premium hand that I would normally push with, then yes, I'll still do it.

Easy shove there. However, you shouldn't have dwindled down to 2 bb at all. You should be shoving when you're 10-15bbs. You'll be shoving with more hands like j 10, 89, etc and you need enough when you shove to get other hands to fold to steal blinds. 2bb won't scare anyone. Do it earlier. Ya, you might bubble or almost bubble but even if you make the money...don't you want more chips to carry on and try to win the thing?!!

If I got a tournament through a satellite, and the very first prizes have a significant addition to bankroll, then I throw out even AA
