Hello! :ciao: Practice will help improve your game. Winning is good discipline.
I recommend you to take a 30-day course from Cardschat, in which Collin Moshman and Katie Dozier talk about the important points of the game: This is a very good and useful course: https://www.cardschat.com/become-a-w...-poker-player/
Also, I advise you to visit the community section: "Poker strategy" - I think you will find a lot of interesting and useful things here: https://www.cardschat.com/poker/strategy/
The best advice is to be patient and curb your expectations. Sometimes it takes an hour or more before anything goes your way. Often you just can't win even when you make the correct choices.
At first improve your game as good as possible with the advice above and second stay consistent with your strategy.
In freerolls you'll have all kind of players. Some go all-in with mediocre cards. Others don't bet a lot even if they have good ones.
It's still a lot of luck in the end.
Good luck though!
I 'only' came in position 23 out of 3k participants yesterday even though I was chip leader once. But I made a few wrong decisions and bye bye final table.
Welcome to the cardschat forum
In addition to applying poker strategies well, the most important things that must be applied and respected in poker tournaments are patience and not rush to collect chips or expect to win, especially with the strong, tempting and consecutive cards that are distributed to you, and you must also read opponents well at the table , and take advantage of the opportunity well to harvest chips when you are the Max on the board.
