I raised on the flop to see where I was at in hand. It was a small raise, just in case my opponent came over the top. The villians small re-reraise didnt tell me much about their hand. They could've flopped the straight or they're on a draw themselves. I called with a pair and a decent draw. The turn gave me the low straight, but the flush draw hit so I slowed it down and just called. When, the forth club came on the river, I was pretty sure I was beat. My opponents bet was so small, I figured I had to call cuz of the sheer size of the pot.

------------------------------------------

Too many players limped in the hand before me, so I didnt figure anyone for that strong of. I raised it to try and take the pot down or at least isolate. I decided to C-bet because I had the flush draw and was trying to represent the A with my EP PFR. My opponent pushed all in and I was considering folding because I was sure my pair was beat, but I called because I was getting a little over 4 to 1 odds to hit the flush draw. The only diamonds I was worried about were the K and J. I called and my hand held up.

The first one, I'll guess just about everyone would do what you did, and get the same results.

His weak bet at the river could have been a trap so the simple call was correct IMO.

The second one gets a bit trickier, and oddly, any logic you come up with for your hand, he comes up with the same for his hand.

You are both in for the Royal draw. Such a strong inducement. They do hit. I hit 2 last week.

You had backup for your draw, he didn't. HOWEVER. Unless you knew he was on that draw, your call was as foolish as his huge raise.
You got the right pot odds, but the funny thing about flush odds is I have not seen them take into account the quality of the flush, so maybe your T there would have to subtract a multiple or two, and really only be 8 to 1 to hit and be the winning flush, with the king missing, his jack is maybe 6 to 1 to make the winning flush.
