You saw a straight flop in front of you and you called waiting for a flush to which you had the second nuts, well, very wise of you

First, you won't have the nut flush draw. Which reduces the likelihood of winning even when the result is achieved. Secondly, in this situation, the probability of making a flush by the river is 35%. The pot odds (pot odds is the ratio of your bet to the pot in %) is 39.5%. If your equity (chances to win) is greater than the pot odds, you are playing correctly. In your case, on the contrary, 35%<39.5%. This means that if you regularly perform such actions, you will lose money. As a result, you will not be able to make money on poker. There are books that deal with poker mathematics such as "Poker Math Made Easy No Limit Hold'em Secrets" by Roy Rounder

You went for a flush, which unfortunely didn't happen. Holding a suited K10, from a difficult position against the best position with an unsuited connector. The decision to play was good, but risky, when your opponent was risky too, but he was holding a pair and waiting for a staight, or a three of a kind or even a full house. That heart did not come, never mind!

Preflop
Standard open. Your screenshot dont show your sizing, but should be no more than 2,5BB with this stack depth.

Flop
Definitely fine to C-bet with a flushdraw and two overs. You can get some better hands to fold, and if he jam, you have more than enough equity to call it off. Did not work out this time, but thats poker.

More information is missing from the hand, but I think the hand would have ended anyway. The call is not bad, since on that flop you have no way out, but instead of betting on the flop I would have check-raised. I think it is the right move

Great to have you join us.

When we play vs very weak players we do not have to build pots early- as they often payoff in later streets- so we can check- call on this flop rather than play for stacks on the flop by bet- calling. We also do not need to get 100% of our raw equity as again they will pay us off when we have a made hand so if we check call and the board pairs we can overfold turn vs weaker V and get their stacks later. Why? they are seldom bluffing often enough.

I've heard about a good or a bad play, but a "sad" one ? It is you who gets "sad" after having made a bad play.
