Very easy fold. Fold preflop, actually (to stay out of sticky situations like this).

You'll often be up against KJ+, AA or a 6. Sure, you might be up against two maniacs going at it with 99 and TT, but it's unlikely.

I'm folding, too early in the tournament to risk your entire stack with this hand. Let these two guys go at it and wait for a bigger hand.

Don't even get involved in the pot to start... but after that, fold. Most likely up against a 6, or a better king. And what are the pot odds offering you?

Push.

Despite having seen the result, I still agreewith Pigpen. People are pushing with all sorts of rubbish here in these games, and you can't have invested more than... what, five minutes? There'll be another one startings soon enough and if you double up, you'll likely go deep.

(Note: I'm talking specifically about these tournaments - any other game, especially one involving real money, and the play would be different)

You say this is a donkament. No! This is a SUPER-DONKAMENT.
So I agree with pigpen and others.

Regardless of the posted result, donks will push with 6, ANY K, and overpairs. Your K beats most other kickers, so I would call. You are at worst 50/50 to have the best hand. And if you lose, you still win because you don't waste your time.

If you had K4, then you can only beat 2 hands and folding is probably best(unless another super-donkament is starting).

Super donkaments are my form of playing solitare to kill time and relax.

True there's another one in six minutes, but whybe a super-idiot-glactic-donk-out when you don't have to?

I saw it coming. SB min-raised pre-flop (useless bet), and then post-flop SB raised and UTG pushed. I knew there was a 90% chance of one of the two of them holding AK, KQ, or KJ. The push by UTG screamed trips. I knew my K 10 was dominated. It was fun confirming my read.

Later in the contest, I wouldn't mind the limp in, but this early, it is a fold preflop situation.

I wasn't making judgement on your poker game selection but merely pointing out the conditions for this hand. Afterall, in a "normal" tournament, no one would even overbet that much, so this situation would not even occur.

True there's another one in six minutes, but whybe a super-idiot-glactic-donk-out when you don't have to?

I agree that making super-donk moves is not necessary. But playing a normal tight game will not work either since you will be forced to gamble later with much smaller stack and the math is against you.

In essence, in these tournaments your skill advantage is miniscule.

In those tourneys it is best to fold those preflop because the have little value unless the flop two pair or a str8 against so many, that is just as worthless as 97o
