He may be playing back at you, but I suspect he re-raised with something. Maybe AK, mid to high pp. His C-bet is for 2/3 pot, pretty standard, whether he hit the flop or not. Personally, I am done with this hand, three overs plus the re-raise preflop from villain.

^^^^^^^^
serious response

I know you probably came over the top, putting him on just over cards, he goes all in and you make a soul read call and take all his chips. Because you run that good.

^^^^^^^^^
having fun with the master MTTer

Knowing u i figure u jamed because this flop didnt hit his range and his cbet size is akward and he folded.
Im not really thrilled about calling the 3bet prf though, where not geting a set mining price and if your read is right that he is doing this light our implied odds suck too.
So yeah id prefer to 4bet or fold prf.

As played i fold the flop because im a nit but this could actualy be a decent spot to bluff imo...

Personally I would fold this just for the fact that this player is willing to go up against a stack that could take him out of the tourney.

One thing you don't do is go up against a big stack that could take you out unless you have a big hand, that being said, I put villian on JJ+.

Villain will be OOP the whole hand i dont see him making a move at you after the flop with nothing, considering you cold called his 3 bet. My guess is he is sitting on a monster, and he hopes u hit top pair.

I dont know youd be surprised Teebone at how many ppl ive seen play OOP with a hand like Ak after getting their 3 bet called preflop. Now the villain can easilly have JJ QQ KK AA as well as the AK we can put him on which creates alot of doubt and the issue with playing against a bully is that your hardpressed to put him on a hand and as such you make decisions based on that when in fact statistically he is just as likely to have a hand as anyone on the table. My point being is that just cause of your perception of him as a bully dont let it cloud your judgment a pair of 4s without a set arent something im willing to shove on especially late in a tourney. A chip saved is a chip earned and i think right now since your either a marginal favourite or a huge underdog confrontation is not an option.

Well I think there's only two things you can do, fold or raise. I would likely fold and pick a better spot.

This is actually a pretty dangerous flop if villain has been capable of 3-betting a fairly wide range. I'd consider floating the flop and then moving in on the turn, ie. if the flush card hits.

I've played a handful of the $8mtt's on Fulltilt and feel that the majority of players in them aren't very good and you run into alot of players who are bluffing way too often, calling down light OOP, etc. etc. I'll usually NIT it up in them and find I still get paid off well with good hands (kinda like the ones playing w blind aggression aren't even capable of letting up on it, or even paying attention to what each of their opponents are up to, are capable of, etc. etc.).
