This type of situation is goofy, and I'm looking for some thoughts on it.

It's very early stages of a multi-table sng.

Would flatting pre here of been a better idea?

I was a little surprised when the SB flatted pre. The initial raiser was very early position so coming over the top of my 3bet was a very real possibility. The oddness of his play didn't stop there.

Next surprise was UTG+1 folding to the flop bet. I mean why... 30 chips? Did I make a big mistake not raising here? Looking at it now I think I did.

Again, can't fold the turn at that price can I?

River... sure his flush draw got there.. but if he's got air I'm at least chopping.. price is right isn't it?

Just post this hand I think I see now that I clearly should have re-raised him on the flop. But I'm still unsure about the flat or 3bet pre being so early in the tournament and such early position.

Ok, your 3 bet is too big. Also, when I get min donked like this I treat it as a check, so a raise is in order OTF. This changes the hand so my analysis ends here.

Yes I agree the 3bet size is a little goofy. A min-raise didn't seem right to me at the time. But you are probably right. I already addressed the flop raise. I should have for sure. But thanks.

3-bet sizing is fine.

Raise flop, as played fold river.

I agree that 3bet pre flop is ok.
The flop - isn't friendly. If he minibets the flop, I call at least one street, we can see cheaply the next card. The turn - isn't good card for me, he bets 90, sometimes I can pay for it and see the river. The river - we have completely air, easy fold for me here.
Maybe raise on the flop would be better, but I don't think so that he would fold FD + two over cards.
