NO,

in omaha H/L you are looking for a scoop, and you are playing for low here so you are playing for 1/2 of the pot. Even if he has total junk like 56KQ single suited he still could easily outflop you.

you are looking for hands to scoop and this hand is unlikely to.

after the call its even easier fold.

terrible call....why?
1. even if you could see the other guys cards you are still probably just playing for half a pot and
2. with a call already before you you are getting approx 2 to 1 pot odds not enough to make your call correct.
3. almost never risk more than 20% of your stack pre-flop in Omaha....its a drawing game where post-flop play to the most probable absolute nuts is the key. Let the idiots gamble their tourny lives pre-flop.

peace

If you're going to sign up for a $1 NO LIMIT Omaha Hi/Lo game then you might as well call. Both the above 2 posts are 100% correct for a proper Pot Limit game, you haven't got a hand that can call here, but this isn't a decent Pot Limit game, it's a gamblers push-and-close-eyes game. The dynamics of the game are clear here, you're going to be sitting seeing him going all-in over and over again until he busts out, by which time either you or your opponents will have his chips. Call, cross your fingers, and never play No Limit Omaha Hi-lo again.

The correct answer is indeed don't play NLO8 because it's pretty much the most stupid poker game in existence.

That said you can find a better spot than A2xx for 70BBs, especially when someone has already called the shove.

I agree. It's a crazy game. I thought it was fixed limit when I signed up at the time. I figured I have a good chance to spilt the pot with the low which would be a good profit for me. As luck would have it, I won both the high and the low.

I'm never playing Omaha HI/Lo No Limit again. It's predomiantly luck. I'll read more carefully before signing up to an Omaha HI/Lo sit n go.
