I was not able to login to pokerstars, I joined SportsBetting instead. It’s a good site , but not as many players.

It was one of the two rooms that I downloaded first. They used to have a lot of freerolls and a lot of different types of poker. Good place to learn poker.

I found that information in the reviews I read about their site. I’m not some IT expert, so maybe you’re right. As for the rest, I still think so.

Pokerstars has great range of tournaments you can build a bankroll very easy with a few dollars . They have great support .
If you are a cash player they have a lot of tables ranging from 1-2c to high stakes limits .
I play on pokerstars because they have the best software .

Agreed with everything except the support thing. One of the worst supports.

Pokerstars was the very first site I tried when I first started playing serious Poker.


Before that I had played on Facebook and other free game sites for play money and although I got really good and won consistently on these play money sites I always felt I could do better on real money sites.

How wrong was I (lol).

Playing for real cash rather than play money is as different as chalk and cheese, and was a real eye opener.

I have been fortunate to win money on different sites but have always returned to Pokerstars as they tend to offer more to the poker players,

Recently with the "Stadium Series" I have increased my Bankroll by winning chests from just watching games on Twitch channel and playing games the chest's gave me tickets to like spin and go tickets and sometimes just straight cash.

Also there have been a few surprises like there was one player who won a free Stadium series ticket to the lowest $2 buy in event and finished winning a ticket to the $200 event and finished in the top 5 won cash and a ticket into the $5,000 Grand Final and got to the final table in that so anyone could be a big winner.

Pokerstars was doing a great job of advertising in all of the last decades. That is the name everyone knows and comes up with first. Most of the time it had the fewest special offers at first glance. But behind that with things like the Homegames and especially Intelli the offer was huge. Sadly Pokerstars came to a point where they don t really have to care to much anymore. They are a giant brand within a circus where every other platform ist struggling and a lot are shutting down. And that ends in Pokerstars of today which i think is just not quite the same and exeptionell. The reward system is really hurting me and the special offers have become a joke. Though i dont really see the other rooms as alternatives. Few players, troubles registering or insufficient ways of depositing (and especially withdrawing) is mostly what you see when you try it outside of stars. It s been a marvelous brand once. And now it is just not as bad as the others in which i dont see a real alternative.

I play on Pokerstars because my husband plays there, and if I lose everything I can ask him to transfer money to me xD, but seriously, I like the design, I like the technical support, I like the support of the players. But I don't like moving, xD

Pokerstars is the most popular and diverse online poker room, when I started playing online poker the first thing I did was sign up for Pokerstars, to feel like one of those masters I saw on ESPN being a simple beginner. Back when I started playing poker, I guess pokerstars was the biggest one, at least in advertisse. A lot of vídeo content showing the best playing against each other. So I started playing online poker with pokerstars and always love the desing. The Pokerschool is a great way to start a bankroll learning and playing without risking any money. Pokerschool worked so good to me that I recommend it to all begginers trying to improve their game. Also here in brazil Pokerschool has two FANTASTIC teachers: Marcelo "Tempolivre" e Filipe "Nophilings. I wouldn't be still playing poker if wasn't for this two, I would give up a long time ago. Anyway I guess the rake at the micro stakes is one of the lowest if no the lowest, but people complain about their rakeback. I played a lot of $0,25 45/90 Players and they are both good to start improving your game and keep growing your bankroll.
I really like pokerstars overall
