The software is slick (or was until the recent silly updates). Speed is good compared to other sites. Servers are stable and reliable even when heavily loaded. Massive range of tournaments for all levels. Loads of fish especially at the micros.

It's my go to site for cash games. For tournaments I prefer Ladbrokes/Coral though since they moved to Party network it's clear poker is no longer something they care for.

I don't think any other site can match Pokerstars, though they are gradually doing their best to destroy the hard work with these silly software updates that add nothing to the experience and cause more issues.

The main reason is of course the biggest field. It doesnt mean only biggest prizepools, but also the most poker variants you can play. Also they have really good promotions and challenges. The rakeback is bad but still you can earn something in it - like starcoins to use in the deal (I think you know the 12 hours strategy to play )
