Hate to tell you this but i think youre just out of luck. If youre trying to do anything other than wait it out and see if they pay you (ie. hiring a lawyer) youre going to drop a lot more than $800.

here's kinda the circumstance:

3 roommates....using FT

1 left an skip town about 1 month ago

2 other roommates kept playing on FT for about 2 more months
the 2 roommates have never withdraw...always making deposits....

coming towards Christmas, roommate A needs money
roommate B owes A money

roommate B then transfers $800 to A's account
then roommate A tried to do a withdraw for the FIRST time (cause they kinda suck and never has withddrawn)

2 days later, both their accounts are closed
both roommate A and B writes to FT

they get response saying under investigation
they read more into FT rules.....and they think it might be about how many people under the same household......

they write back to FT cause after 1 week there's no reply
A get no response
B gets a response saying if he can't wait they can send him the money

keep in mind, A is withdrawing $800
B has $2.15 or so left

Ft response to B is simply it takes time, if u can't wait, we'll just send u the money left in the account

in the meantime.....A, after about 15 e-mails....get NO RESPONSE....ABSOLUTELY NONE

A has deposited over $2,000.....but can't get a response cause he's trying to withdraw the $800 left in the account

SO ANYONE HAS SUGGESTION????

and to DM.....very sharp!
it was about 3-4 posting i think out of about 20-25???
so not 85%..........
but....that was GOOD....really!.....maybe except for ur first reponse which was ; so what was ur question??

Pursue it via the bank which you used to make the deposit.

Another player here had a similar problem with carbon poker. His bank's legal team pursued it for him and after many weeks, he received all of his money.

Does that help?

mmm. dont kno about FT, I do kno that me and my hubby both have accounts on pokerstars , and they kno , we r unable to both reg in games 2gether with less than 90 people in them , it wont allow us both to reg. but we can play in any of the games 2gether with more players than 90. We didnt want to screw up any of r accounts so we contacted them and asked how and what were the rules for a hubby and wife to have seperate accounts. What kind of games were the 3 of u playin in 2gether and how many other players were in the games with u ?

Poker companies that operate in the US market need to have an extremely complex set-up, due to the complex anti-gambling laws there,

^^ this.

You are totally wasting your time trying to sue any poker site, except possibly those which are licensed and regulated by European governments. Where there isn`t a clear line to a government watchdog you will (as another member remarked above) struggle to even work out which country`s laws apply.

Try for a negotiated resolution.

Give it up. You have no chance. It is difficult to get your money out of the big rooms, like Fulltilt and bodog. let alone the small fly-by-night outfits

I think any site would be hard to win anything from if you sued them. They always have something in "fine print" that will protect them.

I just want to share the latest e-mail from FT
keep in mind......this is from the $2 left in account
the $700 they still dont repond
the previous e-mail they ask for the usual send your copy of ID and proove of address
-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-
Thank you for contacting full tilt poker Support.

From viewing your account details I can see that your account has been linked to a second Full Tilt account which currently has issues on it.

Unfortunately due to security procedures and data protection I cannot disclose information regarding this account.

As per our previous email, we can further review your account once we have received the requested proof of identity and address.

Regarding your roommates account 'xxxxxx' I can confirm that we have replied to emails regarding his account.

Due to data protection I cannot go into detail regarding his account. Unfortunately I will have to advise you to ask him to email us with his queries.

I can assure you his email will be answered.

Thank you for your cooperation.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

after thoughts:

i got $2 left in the account. why would i send in the info so i can withdraw the $2??????
they said i can assure u we have responded
(yes.....the first e-mail saying your account is under review......after that....no response)
as for ur roommate,
tell him to write us and we will respond.....
ok.....for the past 20th e-mail we write again.....
still no response

-=-=--=-=
ps.....if anyone is interested and just want to read for laughs......
want to see all the previous e-mail
i can post them up one at a time
but only 1 per week......so there will be more suspense!!!! haha

and for those that posted the comments (the good ones)
we know.....everyone including legal has told us to give up
and for the $700 we DO
it's really just sad to see that a big company like theirs would do something like this

and for the poker players....
dont get discouraged
keep playing poker......
just keep in mind what to watch out for.....
read the fine prints like:
ONLY 2 PER HOUSEHOLD

but just sad....even a big company like theirs would do such a thing like
respond to the $2 account
the $700 one......just ignore and don't reply at all.....(eventually they'll give up) I guess

Call me suspicious, but something does not add up.

Did the roomate send the other roommate money from your account?

Was it 800 or 700?

Was it your money or combined roomates money?

Did you leave your computer in your room while you were away?

How much did you have in your account?

Were your roomates playing your account on your computer?

Did they deposit into your account?

Was your account the only account with money in it?

Was there 3 computers in your room?

You left town fo a month but your roomates continued to play for 2 more months, was this ON your computer?

Were you back by then?

Was the money transferred from your account to one roomate then the other?

You said the other roomates never withdrawn just deposited did they all deposit to your account or their account?????

?????????????????????????????????????

the 2 of us are rookies at poker.....we dont even know the meaning of colluding in a game means until we look it up

like i said, this is the FIRST time we made a withdraw
so does it even sound like we're doing any kinda cheating?

but the WORSE thing is FT just wont respond to A
but replies to B within 2 days....

A just keeps asking"what happened to my withdraw request?"
...................silence............for almost 3 months

B keeps asking and telling the respond e-mail that A is writing but can't get a response.and heres a couple of their response:
-=-==-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=---=-
1)Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Please be advised that for privacy and security reasons we cannot disclose information related to other player's account.

The account holder needs to contact us from the email address registered on the account with the issues to resolve.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us. We're always here to help.
-=--=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=
2) another one

You may ask your room-mate to contact us from the email address registered to his Full Tilt Poker account, and we will be able to answer any queries raised by him in relation to the withdrawal of funds.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=--=-=--=-
Yes...A did use his own e-mail address registered to the account.
...........they just won't reply.........so now what?

wait until the next Christmas to see if they'll reply??

after thoughts:

i got $2 left in the account. why would i send in the info so i can withdraw the $2??????
they said i can assure u we have responded
(yes.....the first e-mail saying your account is under review......after that....no response)
as for ur roommate,
tell him to write us and we will respond.....
ok.....for the past 20th e-mail we write again.....
still no response

Perhaps you are unwilling to send your identity info on the $2 account because it would prove you are the same person as the other account?

It's pretty clear you got confused between your two accounts and are e-mailing them from the wrong address.

You are obviously a multi-account scammer who got caught (probably some sort of desire for rake back?); I mean really, if you wanted to lend a roommate money why would you transfer it to them on FT-- wouldn't you cash out yourself, then give them the funds?? [awaiting lame excuse/reasoning]

Do you really expect people to believe your bs when your posts start to disintegrate into using "our money" and "we e-mailed them"?

do your research next time small companies i'm always very wary of move forward not worth your time! gl to you in future!:)
Are you seriously suggesting that Full Tilt is a small company? My suggestion would be to do your reserach and don't try to rip off the poker site.

FT has to verify the identity of anyone withdrawing, the same as any online bookmaker does, as part of money laundering legislation. It's not unreasonable to ask for identification.

The only thing I can recommend is reporting the casino/poker room to the casinomeister and let him do all the work. Then get on with your life!

Yep..this site has been vaery helpful to mediate REAL and non-scamming disputes between Poker/Casino sites and players.

I would be careful though...I have been involved in chasing down security (scam) type issues with some sites and your story as all the apperances of one of these situations.

Whenever you allow multiple people to play on the same IP, and one of them has ISSUES (FTP slang for they ripped someone off or FTP off) and you are all transfering to each other, and/or other things of this nature, you can not go crying all over town about how screwed up a site is.

I mean, the sites only have technical information to go on...they pretty much have to initially assume the multiple players playing on the same IP (where one of the players is doing something(s) "untoward") are all in the actions together.

Unfortunately, FTP is pretty squirley to begin with, and rational thought sometimes slips thru there little minds.

But it pretty much sounds to me like the classic, several people playing on one IP (household). AT least one does something very wrong, and the others CLAIM they were not involved.

This is a very tough position to be in...and if in fact everyone except the ONE is 1000% innocent of the wrongdoing and had no idea of the wrongdoing, then sure, keep protesting, but be prepared to give completely full facts to the site and tell them you are prepared to answer absolutely any question they have.

Again unfortunately, many of the people who are scammers, tend to have MOs that run along the sames lines as your story and actions.

i have finally gotten a reply after over 4 months.....but
it's the same result....

wrote a e-mail back....and almost 2 weeks now....no response

unfortunately they still won't ask me to provide any identity information, cause i have money in the account. $700 to be exact....

and still the other roomie..... they keep telling him he needs to send in prove of his identity for them to continue......
to continue what though? so they can send him the $2 left in the account and close it??? LOL

But from the last e-mail, i did find out some info.....that this is all caused by our ex-roomie.....
the one that we can't find now either....haha

Hvae you tried transfering the money back to B account, then just with drawing it from there.
You said you are roomates rights.
Well that seems alot easier to try than suing them.
Have you ever heard of the term a snowball surviving in hell theroy, that is what it would be like to sue ftp.
My buddie had some withdrawing issues with full tilt after winning a big tournament.
It was his first withdraw as well.
He did have 2 sepperate accounts set up,but had not played the other account for sometime.
This is why they froze his withdraw.
After some time and alot of waiting they closed down his old account and send him the money.
