That is entirely up to the governments, that have imposed them. So your guess is as good as mine.

There is no situation where the sanctions are lifted while madman Putin remains in power. There will be no return to normal relations until that changes, and Russia will pay a high price for their actions. I believe pokerstars is just one of the first to close operation for Russian players and more will follow.

injustice for russian players

It seems unfair to me that Russian players are excluded from the poker tables, many surely invited many hours of play to achieve all those achievements and now they are blocked from access, should they at least allow them to withdraw their funds or will they also freeze their withdrawals?

I completely agree, the more sanctions we put on the russian people, the more incentive they will have to end the war.

All these restrictions and penalties put on the people of Russia unfortunately will not do much because Putin does not care one bit about them and he will just tell them it's everybody else's fault anyways.
